Ok, ok... a few of you are wanting to know about my back... So, while I'm waiting on hubby to finish whatever so we can go have a belated birthday dinner (we didn't go last week, because I didn't feel up to it. Since it was my birthday... I figured he wouldn't care! LOL)... here's an update..
My back is ok... well... it WAS until I had to take hubby up to the local Harley dealership to pick up our bikes. (They were having their "Spring Check Up"! LOL)
Anyway... I forgot my lumbar pillow... so, I'm a little in pain right now... but not enough that I'm going to take a pain killer. Oh & after we got home... I had to go put laundry into the wash... DON'T WORRY, I did NOT carry any of it... hubby took the hampers to the basement for me! He will also put the clothes in the dryer.... because I can't stoop over to put from the washer to the dryer.
Being on my feet for a length of time is not going well. So, I will be calling the doctor on Monday. Especially since I have to figure out how I am going to last during my trip to California in less than 2 weeks!
I have not been shopping since this happened... hubby's been getting groceries... but I can't put it off any longer... I need to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow to get somethings for my trip. So, we'll see how I do after that. I sure hope I do NOT have to use one of them powered wheel chairs! LOL
So, please continue to pray... & also that I won't be so nervous about my trip! I'm excited... but also nervous!
Well, sounds like hubby is almost ready...

Just some random thoughts...
This is how I feel most days. So, when I'm not here, I've been on Second Life...Because of that I realize there are many things I've said I'd blog about... that I haven't...
Such as my reviews of the Nascar races. I am so sorry I have been so remiss in these blogs. I will try to work on getting back on track with these in the future... Though, I can not guarantee when.
However, I will do my best to keep you up to date once I am there. Sounds like Dad has quite a few things planned for us.
I am the one in the pink dress & Mama Di is in the purple shirt & skirt. :)
Yeah, I know, you can't see our faces... I just got so busy, I forgot to get another snapshot at another angle.
Well, speaking of SL... I think I ought to hop on there to check things out before I go to sleep! ... Well, then again... it is almost 12:15a.m. & it's been a LONG day... as I am sure most folks have had today... Not to mention my back is aching a lot...

Today's the BIG day!! :)
Well, I turn 39 today! In some ways I don't feel like it... other ways I feel 69!!I have no clue what is going on today... No plans have been made with my family... either my side or my hubby's side. And since Easter is this Sunday... I am not sure how it's all going to work out.
To be honest, this is the 1st year, that I recall, where I am looking forward to being at home & alone... well, I'll have all of you... but I think you know what I mean. LOL.
I take that back, there is one thing in the works that I know of... My dear friend Autumn Sunshine is going to host a blog party... So, I hope you all can make it! If you've never been to a blog party... they're a blast! It's like a big ol' chat session.
Then I do know that the Ladies of the apartment building I'm "living" at on SL (Second Life) might be throwing me a party there too... but I don't think it's until tomorrow (Friday). So, don't worry... I won't be hiding out there today... I may stop by for a few to say "hi" to all.
I sure hope that I am feeling a lot better than I was yesterday (Wednesday) because I turned $hiba off at approximately 5:00p.m. due to a major sinus headache. I couldn't take looking at the screen anymore.
Then I laid down & napped most of the evening. It is now "officially" my b-day... & I just jumped on long enough to check my messages & emails :)
To my delight another dear friend, Denise, has sent a message for you all to leave me a gift... if you were not a part of the PM... I am leaving another "gadget" below so you don't feel left out! LOL
I just love gifts! :) This is a little different version... but still just as easy... to leave a gift... click on "leave a gift" & to see what has been left already... click on "browse gifts"... simple enough?? LOL :)
I don't get... I wonder if it's the headache or the fact next year I'll be 40... but I'm not that excited this year about my birthday.
Hmmm... I was for a little while... right now... well, I'm sure, knowing me.... that will change before the day is over! :)
Oh, I'm sure I'll be more with it as the day rolls on! :) Especially after I get the call from my mom! That always livens me up! LOL :)
So, don't be surprised if I disappear for a short time around the 10:00 a.m. hour.. because I was born at 10:11 a.m. on March 20th 1969 & Mom usually calls around then!! :)
Ok, will someone PLEASE pull on the "emergency brake cord"! This train is getting a mind of it's own! LOL :)

All Aboard...
Hello, it's been a while since I've blogged much about nothing! Ok, it's not nothing to me... & some of you may just be interested in this ride aboard The Rambling Train...Well, I won't keep you in suspense... CLICK HERE for the photos of my 1st tattoo! If someone reminds me in a few weeks, I'll take another picture & post it to show it after it's healed. Passion Wolf says the colors will really be better once it's completely healed. & Yes... I LOVE IT!!
It was a little rough at 1st... the outline is what hurt the worst, but it didn't last. That's pretty much about it for that...
Though my day started off with a bit of a startling phone call... I was 1/2 asleep when my mom called & asked if Gina (my sister) had called me yet.
After I said no... she said "Well we had a bizarre day here yesterday. Everything is fine now."
Of course, my mind started going all over the place as to what could have happened... So, Mom continued.
"Grandma died for about 20 minutes yesterday." With that the towel I use to cover my eyes came flying off. Then I was fully awake!!
She goes on to say how they & the nurse that stays with Grandma during the day were all just talking & Mom looks at Grandma & said, "Are you getting sleepy?"
Before they could get an answer, Grandma slouched over in her wheel chair. At this point my sister shot up out of her seat & tried to wake her. Then started singing & praying in her ear.
(Grandma is DNR (do not resuscitate) because her bones are so brittle now, that if they tried to, it would break many bones in her chest & would make it worse for her.)
Anyway, they said she was turning purple & getting cold. At that point Mom went to call her ex-husband (See, Grandma is HIS mom!!).
Then Mom told Jackie (the nurse) & Gina to take Grandma to her bed so that she appears to be more peaceful than being slouched over in her chair.
So, they get her back to her bed & at this point she's lost ALL her body functions (I won't go into details!)
Jackie keeps telling Mom & Gina, "Girls, she's gone. You're just going to have to accept it."
Gina then called the Hospice & requested someone to come out to confirm & to call it, I guess.
During this, (about 20 minutes later) my ex-step dad is driving down the lane.
While on the phone with Hospice, Grandma's legs started to twitch... They said that's normal. But then her eyes fluttered. Being startled Gina drops the phone & it dropped on Grandma's face.
Here's the bizarre part...
Then Grandma opens her eyes, looks around & says "Oh what's going on?" Gina asks her, "Grammy, you ok?"
She replied: "Oh, yes. How are you?"
From what Mom & Gina told me, they started laughing so hard that when my ex-step dad came in the door he asked "Are you laughing or crying?"
Needless to say, they were shocked & so they looked up on the net all those symptoms... it's called a "pre-cursor to death". I guess this happens among the elderly (She's 89 years old.) & that it may happen several more times before she actually dies... Which could be 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 month or even 2 years.
Mom joked they'll have to wait several days to be sure she is gone before they call the funeral home!
Another joke was made by one of the neighbors... "She just got up there & saw her bed wasn't ready & said... 'Heh. Call me back when you're ready!'" LOL!!
In all seriousness, she's fine... & in some points Gina said she's better than she was before.
As not to frighten her, they're calling it her "fainting spell"... Oh, Gina did say that for about 10 minutes or so, she could hear a faint heart beat through the stethoscope, but she was not breathing. Then for more than 5 minutes was nothing ... & that's when all the rest happened.
So, my comment was... were you smacking her (gently, of course) to snap her out... & Gina said she was doing everything they could. I guess when she lost all the functions & etc... is when they were sure she was gone.
My other thought is... I sure hope it doesn't happen again. I really would hate to hear any of us going through that again. For I am sure it was traumatic on Mom & Gina... Not to mention my ex-step dad, having to race from work over to the farm.
I told my hubby about all this & he's like "So." I'm like... "You're not surprised?" "Nope, that's your family... you'll probably do the same thing!"
I'm laughing... "Just remember Grandma is not blood related!"
"Yeah, but you act just like her!"
"I guess that's just from growing up with her!" I replied.
One final thought about this all... Mom & Gina said they're glad Jackie was there, because they had a "witness"... someone who's not family! LOL

It's just right now I am rushed, because hubby wants me to follow in the truck up to our local Harley Dealership.... he's taking our bikes up for it's Spring tune up!!

**UPDATED** - What's all that stuff in my INBOX? (another view)
<--- That's the diploma from Caghs' classes, I told you about in my "Graduation" blog (or was it a review?)Well, I've had several friends ask for help trying to decipher their Multiply Inbox.
I was as detailed (yeah, that's a disclaimer for the length of this blog! LOL) as I could be! If you already know about all this... feel free to add anything I may have forgotten. (There are some things I am saving for another blog! These ones I'm highlighting now are the ones I think are most commonly over looked!)
I will tell you, the majority of the different things I am going to explain here are things I've figured out on my own by just clicking on the different links to see what they do... with that said, you can always point & click to see what something is... if you trust the site! :)
Ok, here's a smaller version of the screen shot... to see it larger... just click on it... it will open in a new window / tab, & you can just go back & forth... to match it up with the explanation below. :)
Time to get this train moving! Starting with the big RED arrow & working clock wise....
RED Arrow = Messages sent SPECIFICALLY to you that are UNREAD! Or replies to something YOU posted on YOUR site... (I suggest you start with that when viewing messages... because PM's are also included in the count... if any!) Soon as you click on the message it's self that number will go down. Once you've read all of them... you'll then be left with "Since your last visit"... (visit to your inbox that is!) Meaning posts by your contacts & groups (if you belong to any.)
TIP: Those messages, they auto refresh, just like the replies to a blog or other posting does!!... so, you could in essence have a little chat going on with a friend! :) And far as I know, there is no limit to how many replies are sent back & forth. (I have a friend & she & I have over 50 comments / replies in one message & counting! LOL!!) - Oh when you have read all the messages & posts & etc, that box "disappears" until you get a new reply, message, or a friend posts something!!! So, if you have a high number... chances are you're not reading your messages / replies sent to you!! (Or you have just had a bunch sent to you since the last time you looked at your inbox!) :)
The circle (color? don't remember & can't really tell! LOL) right under "Unread message list" (if you have any) = A "quick link" to post / write a new blog, review... even a PM (personal message) & etc!
The long skinny BLUE arrow = "The Pin" to pin certain messages to the top of all your other messages & posts! For example, I am doing the Secret Angel thing, & the messages you see I have PINNED to the top of the box, so when someone sends me their gift to be delivered, it's not BURIED amongst all my other non pinned message or posts from friends and / or groups! (Oh, if you're wondering... the message part is blacked out... because those are the messages that reveal to that person who they are going to be a Secret Angel to. Which is to be a SECRET... get it... Secret Angel... Secret?? LOL) I crack myself up sometimes! LOL) :)
Oh, do you not see a "pin"... well that can be set in your "preference"... (but I'm getting a head of myself... I'll cover that in a few...)
The other 2 little icons by the Pin... the envelope means you're "subscribed" to that message, or post... which means if you have email alerts set up... you'll receive an email when that post or message is replied to. (That's under settings... which is the Yellow arrow, but that's later!)
The circle with the X in it is to delete the message from your inbox... does not completely delete it... it just means you will no longer receive email alert OR be notified there are replies to it... It's rare I use that... only when someone sends out a mass message or posts something "popular" & I don't want to see any more of th replies to it. I figure, if I want to see it again, I'll go to that person's web site to see it. They normally "roll off" your list as other posts come in. I don't recommend using it, unless you're absolutely sure... Also, you'll get a pop up alert confirming it. (It's best to read it before you click ok!!)
Ok, now on to the little PURPLE arrow... that's well, just what it says... your preferences... for your InBox that is! :) It's where you can select if you want the pin or not... (the other 2 little icons come with the pin!) There are other options... that if you need me to explain, just send me a reply... but I think they are pretty much self explanatory :)
Moving on...
(Before I do... I am doing this, because of the Secret Angel site... 1, I wanted to show those participating how & why I need them to reply to the one message... Also, to show them how easier it will be for BOTH of us, if done so!!) :)
I suggest using just the 1st 2 or 3. Depending how many blogs & reviews & etc you want to see that have been posted. As you can see... I have mine set to just My posts / messages & those posts from my contacts. (If I want to see my groups' postings, I just scroll through or check out the "unread message" list... if none listed, then that means no one has posted anything to a group since the last time I checked.)
OH, speaking of! I HIGHLY recommend checking your InBox OFTEN... That is how you will be able to keep up with your messages; replies to your messages and / or posts; & what your friends are posting! That is how some of us reply so quickly... because we're constantly checking it... :) I know I do at least! LOL :)
Last but not least, is the YELLOW arrow = Settings, as I mentioned briefly, above...
It's where you can set up many different things... like changing your password & etc... but the one I really want to point out is the "Email Alerts"... It's where you can set up what you have emailed (to the email you registered with / have on account) to you & what you do not.
I personally do NOT have the box checked for "Replies to posts I've commented on" or even any of my groups. (Except for the one I created... but that's not public yet! LOL)
If you do not check your INBOX (here) often... then I highly suggest that you have the "Personal messages to me" & the "and replies"... that way you'll be notified via email you have a new message / reply!! (I still have it checked, even though I check my Inbox frequently... only because I use Yahoo email... & when I have Yahoo Messenger open, I'm alerted right away with a pop up that I have new email. That's another way I keep on top of things... most of the time! LOL)
Tip: Also have "Invitations to be a contact" checked. Obvious reason! At least I think it's obvious. :) I also like having the Monthly Newsletter sent to me... because that's how I get my info of the new features & etc. Though you can check that out by going to the Staff blog at: Multiply.Multiply.com!! :)
Just be sure to click the OK button at the bottom to save your settings. There are a couple links there that are worth exploring. Or someone remind me & I'll give you detail on them later! :)
(Back on track) Ok, item I did not talk about was the "custom" link... that is for custom filters. & That is for another blog, another day! :)
SO... does that help? Please give me feedback, it will help me for future "basic learning" blogs! :)
One thing, I'd ask is, please, do not to criticize on how detailed I am... because I believe there may be someone either very new to Multiply or someone who really likes the detailed accounts.
If there is something you see you want an explanation about before you explore it... feel free to leave it as a reply below. Maybe "what does a "tag" do?"
For more advanced stuff like working with CSS codes... which helps in customizing a theme / background for your site... (Or tweaking a custom made theme... which I do all the time! LOL)... For that... see Learning with Carrie (Caghs)... see now, my diploma tied in after all! LOL (aww come on, give me a break, it's 1:45 Monday a.m. & I've been up since 7:00 Sunday a.m.! LOL!) :) :)

Happy HUG day, Welcome to March and my SECOND life
I have been remiss to mention... Welcome you to March! I just can't believe it... I also can't believe that in just EIGHT days I'll be celebrating my 39th birthday!But that's not the reason for this blog... 1 is to explain where I came up with "Happy HUG Day"! Actually I can NOT take credit for it... it's the creation of Mama Di (aka Quiet Warrior)...
I adopted it for the same reason she came up with it... I do NOT like the other term used... to... uh... indecent for me!!! I've never liked that term... & even more so with all the graphics associated to the day!
Anyway... I also wanted to let you all know I called the doc's office & they are calling me in another 20 Vicodin... however, if the pain does not improve in the next week, he wants me to follow up with him!
Even though I have this new laptop to keep me company... I'm starting to go stir crazy... HOWEVER... I do have to say one thing... my hubby is taking care of me.. though albeit with a little bit of complaining... he's doing it! So, I'm NOT going to complain!! Hey, he even just put the dishes in the dishwasher... AND he's been making supper... I think it's GREAT!!! :)
So, I have you all to keep my mind occupied... along with my "second life"... Have you ever heard of Second Life (SL)?? It's a virtual world... where you create an avatar & "live"... it's a blast! I have my sister to thank for it. (Or some may say blame... since I spend a lot of time there! LOL)
As I get used to it & then teach Gina (my sis) on how to use it... then I won't be on quite as much... I hope! LOL
So, if you are a "resident" of SL let me know your user name & I'll look you up & we can get together & go shopping or even hang out at "my place" or even go to a Bible Study or even Church! You can even enroll in classes to learn REAL LIFE (RL) things! :)
If you're there & are looking for a place to live... for free... I know the place! I found it by accident this past weekend.
It's a great Christian place for Women... & on the same island there is housing for men! & Then we have a church we all can go to.
If you've never tried SL or here of it... I included a link in the full name up above. I will tell you this... before you download the program... you will need a computer that can handle the graphics... if you have an older computer, I would NOT suggest it!
Also, I do NOT suggest it for any one who does not have much time on their hands, because it is quite addictive!!! You really do not want to know how much time I've spent on it in the past 5 days... (today will be my 6th day on it!) I am learning fast!
I also do NOT recommend it for anyone with young ones who can view or even get on it! There are some parts that are MATURE!! Personally, I avoid those areas (most are marked!) & ones I happen across by accident. well, I run or fly out or just teleport to my home location!!! Just wish I could teleport to home in RL!! :o)
If you are careful you can enjoy a great SECOND LIFE!! (By the way, I got the logo from Google Images!!!)
My goal is to become a SL Mentor... eventually!! One that hangs out at the "Wings of Hope" Island! :)
Again... if you are new to it... feel free to seek me out for any help! If I can't help... I have several friends already & 2 are mentors!

You have the ability to choose your 1st SL name... but they give you a list of names to choose from for your last name. But I found out that the list of last names changes... so if you want to be my "relative"... then you may not get the same last name as me.
