Local news... (warning... it's graphic)

I was about to power down $hiba when I saw a link in the local news box about a lady that had been beaten & etc & left for dead...

Seems our local newspaper decided to interview her & print her ordeal... I am only posting this because I have to vent a little... I do not agree with newspapers printing addresses of victims of any crime... let alone what this poor girl has been through!! (Let alone, how her neighbors would feel like!!)

Read for yourself & decide. **WARNING** the story is a bit graphic! Not for the "faint of heart"!!

  1. I think that probably this has a whole lot to do with her husband Alex.
Maybe he hired someone to terrorize her...
And I guess there is really no reason not to publish her address, since its evident that
the person knows where she is all the time. It seems to me that she has been targeted for these attacks.
    Not at all random.

  2. It's gotta be the ex-husband. Hopefully he left some clue to link him to the crime. Four times now and no suspect? Someone is dropping the ball.

  4. That is so sad for this lady. Probably the ex. I guess it doesn't bother me what they published because everything needs to be out there so others in the city are aware and can protect themselves to some degree. I hope this guy is caught whoever he is and put away for a long, long time!!!

  5. I don't claim to know everything but the first thought that went through my mind when I read this was: THREE times in one year and still no arrests?

    then in this order:
maybe the girl is attention seeking ( blame it on a mental illness group home manager mind set)
maybe the ex hired someone to do it
the whole thing does sound just right.

Will reserve final judgment until it is settled.

  6. When I read this, it only aroused suspicion. It'll be very interesting to see just who gets charged and for what in this case.
    I'm with QW, something's fishy.

  7. Sorry to say this... but that's the local police here!

They're so "fishy" there was a book written about them... called "Rotten to the Core" by Martin Yant... It was about the 70's & 80's police... & Yeah, I know that the majority (if not all) are gone by now... So, I think the author needs to do an updated version!! :)

I'll have to have hubby dig out his copy & re-read it & see if I see any patterns to the modern day force!!
