for my contacts only

Hey all... I just wanted to let you know that my mom is going in for a heart catheterization on Monday morning... She doesn't feel as if it's going to be a big deal... however, she has been having problems breathing & other problems... sounds like her heart is not doing good again.

She had a double (maybe triple) bypass about 5 or so years ago. So... this is supposedly just a "check up" so to speak.

So, please... keep her in your prayers... & me too... for I have to be at the farm Monday morning around 5a.m.!!! UGH!!! (if I don't spend the night.)

Also... I have been kind of "quiet" the past few days because I have only gotten 4 hours sleep each night... & I can't seem to go back to sleep. If it's too much sleep... it's not enough... GEESH!!!

So.... Nighty night!! :o)

  4. The catheterization itself isn't a big deal, it all depends on what they find.

Best wishes with it. And what is this "sleep" thing I keep hearing about?

  8. I will be saying my prayers. For you and her. And sleep deprivation is not good. I can promise you that. I was in bed all day Wednesday. ALL DAY trying to get well again and catch up on sleep missed.

Luv you dear. and you can call me Monday morning if you want. I'll be here.

  9. *hugs* I'm thinking of you and your mother, and praying for you both *hugs*

Don't worry too much at this stage. Grandpa had a bypass many years ago, and more recently a pacemaker was inserted, and every so often he has to go back and have it all checked up, and at one point they had to replace the pacemaker because it was no longer working ...

All of this is fairly routine follow-up for heart problems, and I'm sure your mother will be fine *hugs*

as for the sleep thing, maybe your body is readjusting to you not taking any naps.. or maybe you just have to many things on your mind....
