looking for a new "playlist" site... What do you recommend???

  1. I used to use Imeem.com ... however MySpace took it over. Not thrilled AT ALL!

With imeem.com, I was able to look up songs & add to one of my playlists for FREE!! & Was able to link to it to share in a blog here on Multiply. OR I could just post the playlist in the blog for when doing something like a Party Blog. ... & Now that MySpace has taken it over (without sending any type of "warning")... I have lost quite a few songs I had searched & selected for future enjoyment.

So, now where do I go?

Anyone here of "Pandora"??? Is it any good? My hubby uses it. I want to avoid, if possible, downloading a program.

    Make sense?

  2. I used Imeem too and feel the exact same way you do.

Pandora is good. I personally use last.fm. http://www.last.fm/ It is on the same order as Pandora. Set up exactly the same way. I think either one is fine but I'm used to last fm now.

For example, Fleetwood Mac has their own "station". You just click on it and last fm plays Fleetwood Mac and other similar groups. It is so good. I love it. Nothing to download. You can sign up but so far, I haven't. I love it.

  4. I hear the same things about Pandora. I checked it and again it was the same as last fm so I stayed with last fm.

  5. I used playlist.com for the playlist on my front page. It's OK. You do have to sign up, but there's nothing to download. You can make your playlist either auto-play or need to be clicked on to play. (Mine users have to click on because I hate when music auto-loads on a site.) I haven't been there in a while, but that's what I use.
