Dear Santa...

The 103rd United Friends Challenge (UFC) is mine this time....
For more letters to Santa... CLICK HERE.

It's almost that time... Have you written YOUR letter to Santa yet? The challenge is to write a letter to a Santa (or Father Christmas or whomever your childhood "Santa persona" was)... & write it in a child's point of view.... HOWEVER... for the gifts YOU would like THIS Christmas. Make it fun. Feel free to include pictures.

Dear Santa,
How are you? How is Mrs. Claus, all your reindeer & elves?

I have been good girl this year.
I take care of my dogs.
I even call my Dad every week to check on him.

I don't want much this year... the biggest thing is I would like a white Christmas this year. Lots of sparkly snow.

Another thing I'd like is a digital candy thermometer (photo included) so I can make fudge like Alton Brown on the Food Network.

Please also bring my doggies, Coleman & Sunny some Nylabones. They just love them & I love them.

My hubby needs a few new pair of jeans, so that I don't have to do laundry all the time.

Oh & one more thing, I would like a gift card to Target so I can buy a bunch of Tim Tams. Enough to share with all my friends & family.

Please be safe & stay warm as you travel delivering all them gifts for all the boys & girls around the world.

Sincerely,
Lady Harley (one of your biggest fans.)

P.S. I hope I'm feeling up to making you some chocolate chip cookies. If I don't get them made, feel free to raid my TimTams... once you've had them you'll be spoiled.

Milk will be in the fridge so it won't addicted. Your glass will be on the top shelf.
Many Christmas Hugs for you & the Mrs.

On a roll...

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Other
Here I am taking a quick break to give you an update... (& to get a power snack!)

The date today is 1/2 way in the NaNoWriMo challenge... and I'm only a 5th of the way complete... HOWEVER, if you've been paying attention... I only just started on Tuesday.

So, I call reaching the 10,000 word count threshold an accomplishment!! :o)

I have put a counter "widget" on my front page... so, I may not post as many updates as I have been. I don't want to bore the majority of you... and besides, I should be saving my words for the novel. ;o)

Speaking of, I must get back at it. Have to make up for not writing last night!! :)

How many words can you type in a day?

Well, I am at EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN. Yep, that's 8,516 words in just 3 days. (Well, actually only 2, since I didn't write anything last night!) ... According to another word count widget, I saw I am at 17% of my goal!

WOO HOO!!

*grabs the calculator* That's leaves me at an average of just under 2500 words a day from here on out.

As you can probably tell, I am starting to feel better. At least for now I am!

Don't worry, when you see the time on this blog... I will get plenty of sleep. It just happens that I have been sleeping in the day... and I bet because I've been sick is the reason I had been sleep so much!

Ok, I'll give you that, it is LATE... even for me!! But I feel more relieved since I've wrote a lot.

I'm getting excited how it's all going to! I just hope that I don't end the story before I reach my goal of 50,000 words!!!

I'll give you a tiny glimpse into the storyline...

It's about a girl and a boy... KIDDING!!! Actually, the two main characters is a girl and a boy... but it's actually a suspense type of a novel with a little tiny romance in it.

I think it would be something that Hallmark Movie Channel (HMC) would air.

If you don't know me well, just keep in mind... I write PG stuff! So, if you don't know of the HMC that's just a tip.

Ok... you all twisted my arm... here's a snippet...

It was of his grandfather standing at a lake holding his fishing rod. The caption under it was ‘Tom Jackson caught something alright!’ Lily giggled as she remembered the story she was told.

Ok... that's all I can give you. What I can tell you is that is the start of a story within the story!!!

Would something like that interest you enough to read more??

Word count update...

Well, I did not write at all last night. I was not feeling very well. However tonight I am back at it. Taking a quick break to give you an update.

I am not sure if this meter will update automatically... but here is something you can watch. (If it does, I'm going to put it on my front page, too!)

I tell you... I am bound and determined to make this deadline!!! I figured it out... with a little more than 16 days to go... I have to average about 2900 words each day from here on out. I hope that average will decrease by the end of the weekend.

Best month to do it... WRITE A NOVEL...

I had been hearing about this site NaNoWriMo (which stands for National Novel Writing Month) for a couple weeks now. I never went to investigate... (wish now I had sooner... knowing it was something about writing.)

Well, in my boredom-ness (from being sick & been watching too much TV)... I started to peruse some blogs of my friends. I stumbled upon one from SkyeRider in which she had a link to the NaNoWriMo site. (I'd post her blog about it, but it's for her network only).

So, I checked out the site... looked at the rules... & thought... what the hay... I can do this... I'm a RAMBLER... & most of all, I LOVE TO WRITE!! ... I've been itching to write again... but haven't been really inspired. Well, nothing like a contest to get you motivated!!

The goal is to write a novel of at least 175 pages with AT LEAST 50,000 words... by 11:59p.m. November 30th. Has to be original work & nothing that you've published or posted anywhere else before.

Well, I have started many other novels, if you say, & I never quite seem to get them finished. Then I loose the notebook they're in... or lost the file some how. As I said... nothing like getting motivation.

For this "contest", my novel is actually going to be the 2nd installment of a series of ones that I am working on. I have not finished the 1st book yet.... however, in writing it I "unearthed" a way to be able to make it into a series.

Since this site is wanting original work that you didn't start to write until Nov 1st... I'm going to go ahead & start on the 2nd book.

The reason I'm going into all this is because I wanted to let you all know that even though I'm still sick... & not feeling well... I'll be making my down time count for something!

Who knows what it may lead to... WISH ME LUCK!! & If you're a Multiply user... go by SkyeRider's site & wish her luck too! ... I don't know who else is participating. Feel free to comment below if you are a part of NaNoWriMo!!

P.S. When I feel I can, I'll give you a little excerpt from the novel... however, I may wait until after the deadline.

United Friends Challenge #33 - Out of the Blue into Sunshine...

Well it's that time again! LOL... actually I warned you I'd have another story in the works. This is my own personal challenge... I'll just get right to it this time...

Pick one challenge you have NOT answered yet & answer it. Be sure to give credit to the original creator... If you missed one of your own, feel free to take this time to answer it.

Furthermore, please include a link to the original challenge AND to this challenge.

If you're up to it... feel free to answer more than one challenge...

With all that said... I am going back to answer the one of my own that I missed a few weeks ago... This one... from UFC Challenge # 25

Please pick 1 or more (preferably 2 or more) of your contacts / friends (on Multiply, that are NOT a UFC member) & write a story using their names. (Please put a disclaimer at the beginning to state this is a FICTION story) .... And to be really nice, the 1st time you mention their names, include a link to their site.

Include yourself in the story. Be sure to include a dialog between you & your friend(s) in the story.

Let's see where this takes me. (REMINDER... THIS IS FICTION!)

OUT OF THE BLUE INTO SUNSHINE

It was a gloomy day when the phone rang. On the other end was a telemarketer. I was just about to hang up when I heard the gal say, "Hold on."

I replied, "Why should I? I can't afford anything right now."

"Oh, I don't want to sell you anything... I just want to talk." said the lady. "The longer we talk the less I have to call others & bother them. Do you have a couple minutes? It will make me look good to the boss."

"Ok. But just so you know I am having a bad day & it looks like it's going to storm here any minute." I warned her.

Well, 30 minutes later we were still talking. It was then I realized I didn't know who I was talking to. "What is your name?"

"Autumn Sunshine" she replied.

"Wow, that's a beautiful name. Does everyone go by a nickname there?"

She giggled, "No, that's my real name. Is Lady Harley your real name?"

I couldn't help but to laugh. "Well thank you Autumn, you really made my day!"

"Thank you for taking time to talk with me. Now, may I go through my presentation real quick, just to make this official?"

"I suppose." I said reluctantly.

"It's quick, because you've answered a lot of my questions already. I have figured out that we don't have anything that will work for you. However..." she continued with a quick rendition of products that I would have no use for.

"Well, you're right. I can't use any of that stuff. Though tell you what... If you send me an email we can keep in touch & if that changes, you'll be the 1st to know."

After we swapped emails & a couple other stories about our lives the conversation concluded.

I didn't think I'd ever see an email from her. But the next morning when I did my regular email check there was one from Autumn.

It said, "I just wanted to say 'HI' & thank you again for taking time to chat with me yesterday." She didn't try to sell me anything or include a link or pictures. Which made me happy that I didn't have to worry about any problems.

For several days we exchanged emails & a week later a knock on my front door sent the dogs to barking & my heart pumping.

"I wonder who that could be" I said, as I pulled my one Great Dane down off the door.

I peeked out the blinds to see a UPS delivery man holding a package. I thought, "What did my husband buy now?"

When I opened the door the guy asked if a Lady Harley lived here. I smiled & said "That's me!" After signing for it, he handed me the package & took it inside.

The return address was from Autumn, but I had not clue as to what she was sending me. I didn't buy anything.

Since I still really didn't know her yet, I cautiously opened it, hoping I didn't just set myself up for something I'd regret.

Worried over nothing the gift revealed 2 dog bones for my Great Danes, along with a note:

"Just a little something for a new friend... ok, it's actually for your babies... but still, I couldn't resist when I saw them the other day. Take care, Autumn Sunshine"

"Aww." I muttered with tears in my eyes. I unwrapped the bones & gave to each dog. Then, I powered up my computer & rushed off a thank you note to her.

I found out she lived not to far from me... So, after a couple months of more emails, I suggested we meet at a local fast food joint for a coffee.

We continued to meet once a week after that. We then went out with our husbands to dinner & they both instantly bonded as well.

Then one spring morning I received a call from another telemarketer... Thinking of the friendship I had with the last salesperson, I stayed on & listened to the deal. This time the lady was very pushy & short.

I politely said, "You know, you probably could have sold me about anything right now, because the last telemarketer I talked to is now a dear friend of mind. But with your attitude, I feel all you want is to make your sales quota. So, no thank you!" Before she could reply to try to smooth things over, I hung up.

When the phone rang 2 seconds later I abruptly said, "I told you I am not going to help you with your sales quota."

The sweet voice of Autumn spoke & said, "Hey, if I didn't know better, I'd think you had something against telemarketers."

Again she made me laugh. "Oh, sorry. I just had a nasty call. But once again you have brightened up a gloomy day."

"Well then get ready to let the sunshine in... I have some news." without pausing she said, "I'M PREGNANT!!"

*******
Ok, who didn't see that one coming??!?!?!? LOL! :)

United Friends Challenge #32 - A Treasure of Friends & Memories...

Well, it's been a while since I've contributed... I even missed one of my own challenges. Well... Since my next challenge is going to be posted tomorrow... I decided to do the current one... besides, I miss doing these! :)

UFC is comprised of some very talented authors... some, like myself,  are just mere amateurs...

We were not forced into this, but rather invited by others...
I personally love this group, because writing a passion of mine... I especially like the fact it can be fiction.

With that said...

Here's the current challenge... proposed by Sunshine at Midnight...

Create a story/poem using at least two of the following random items:
Aardvark, bubble wrap, tongue, treasure chest, paint brush, kaleidoscope, postcard, clicky pen, balloon, dictionary.

(I'm going to try to use all the words!)

A Treasure of Friends & Memories
by Lady Harley
(Fiction)

To my delight one Monday morning I received a postcard from old high school friend, Cathy. The picture was of breathtaking sunset with the beach at the front & in the background a snowy mountain top.

The caption on the back read "Avilia Beach, Ca".

In her eloquent handwriting, Cathy wrote:

"I know it's been a long time since we've talked... However, if you're up to it, come join me... Details to soon follow." Loving hugs, Cathy.

Cathy is more of an adventurist than I am, so I had not clue as to why all of a sudden she sent me, of all people, an invite to come see her over 2000 miles away.

Later that day I received a package with Cathy's name & address as a return address. I quickly found the scissors & opened it up, hoping to find out what the mystery was all about.

Inside wrapped carefully in bubble wrap was a miniature treasure chest. My curiosity was peaked even more when I saw the lock on it... I frantically searched through the brown packaged paper to see if I missed the key.

A few minutes later, my husband, Scott arrived home from work to find me crawling on my knees
combing the floor for the elusive key.

"What ya looking for?" he asked. I stood up & showed him the items I received.

Pulling an envelope out of his suit pocket he quipped, "I wonder if this will fit. I received this at the office & couldn't for the life of me figure out why your friend Cathy sent me a key."

"Oh that little stinker. Here I thought I was loosing my mind!"

"Well then, I guess you should go see what Cathy is up to!" Scott smirked.

Sticking my tongue out at him, I replied, "Not before I open this treasure chest!"

Practically ripping the envelope in half a chain with a tiny key on the end of it.

I couldn't believe how bad I was shaking from pure excitement. I finally managed to get the lock open & then I removed it slowly from the box.

My husband squawked, "What? Now you're going to be calm? Just open it already!"

I glanced at him & said, "I'm just trying to prolong the anticipation! Once it's open the surprise is over."

"Knowing Cathy, I have a feeling it's only just begun."

To antagonize my husband even more I slowly opened the treasure chest. Once the contents were finally revealed, my mouth dropped.

Staring at the paper, I said, "It can't be!"

"You'll never know..." cutting him off I hurried up & picked up the paper inside...

Sure enough it was a plane ticket to California, with my name on it!

Seeing my eyes widen & my smile even bigger my husband reached around me & grabbed it out of my hand. "Where's mine?" He whined.

Snatching it back & said, "She must just want it to be a girl's only thing!" But then, I flipped through a little bit more of the paperwork & sure enough, there was another ticket in Scott's name.

Sticking his tongue out at me, he said, "I guess she loves me too!"

While I was looking for something to explain it all, Scott turned his attention back to the treasure chest to see if Cathy included any other clues.

He turned it over & out spilled a little bit of sand, a balloon & a piece of paper.

"I hope you're going to clean that up." I said as I grabbed the paper, in hopes for explanation.

Unfortunately it only led to more questions. For it said:

'Join me for a kaleidoscope of colors & to plop your toes into the Pacific Ocean. Don't miss your flight! We'll have a weekend to remember. Loving hugs, Cathy

P.S. Don't forget your camera!'

I looked at the tickets again & realized the flight left that Thursday morning. Turning to Scott I saw he was about to make a call on his cell phone.

"Can you get off work with that short of notice?"

"I'm sure I could. Boss has been telling me to take a break. I'm calling him right now."

Moments later we were both up in our room pulling out the suitcases & started to pack for what would be a whirlwind adventure.

I thought Thursday morning would never arrive.

To put my excitement to good use, Scott hands me a paintbrush & said "Here! Let's paint the guest room. You said you were going to do it this weekend. Since we won't be here, you better do it now. You know how you are after spending time with Cathy. Besides, it
will make the time go by faster."

Before I knew it we were in the air on our way to the Golden State.

"I wish Cathy would have given us a number to reach her, so we could let her know we accepted her generous offer." I mumbled to Scott on the plane.

"Oh, I bet she had no doubt you'd accept. She's probably going to be waiting at the airport for us."

Scott was right, Cathy was standing in front of all the other folks waiting for other passengers.

After the hellos & hugs, I asked Cathy, "What's with all the secrecy?"

"Oh, you'll see!" She giggled. Then she turned & grabbed the arm of a very handsome man next to her & exclaimed, "This is my husband Cameron. Cameron this is Michelle & Scott. Michelle was my best-est friend in high school. Her & Scott were high school sweethearts. They also were Prom Queen & King. We all envied their love. Of course now I know what it feels like to find your soul mate."

Giving a firm handshake I joked with Cameron, "We didn't pay her to say that!"

We all laughed as we walked to get our luggage. While the men waited, Cathy pulled me aside & filled me in a little bit.

"Ok, I have to tell you what's going on, but I don't want Scott to know."

I nodded in agreement & she continued. "Do you remember what this Saturday is?"

I stood there for a moment & tried to recall the date in my head... "Aww, come on Cathy, you know I can't think when I am tired. Not to mention jet lagged!"

"Think back to twenty years ago."

"Oh my goodness! Has it been that long already? I totally forgot!"

Before I could ask any more questions she started in with the details of our upcoming 20 Year Class Reunion.

"Did you front the tickets for everyone?" I asked.

"Are you nuts? No, just for you & Scott. I wanted to be sure you 2 made it & I wanted you here a day early so you could relax & we could catch up. But I did send everyone a postcard & a treasure chest. Yours was the only one with tickets. The rest just got a miniature mascot & details about the event.

We have had 17 of the 29 class members confirm. The other 9 have either passed away or just could not swing it financially. I even invited Mr. Stevenson & Mrs. Hanson & their significant others. They both accepted! So, we will have at least 40 people arriving late tomorrow & early Saturday."

"Wow, Cathy, did you plan all this on your own?"

"I had Cameron, of course, plus a couple friends. The hardest part was finding toy aardvarks, wrapping & mailing over 30 of them treasure chest. It was received well by all."

By that time Scott & Cameron had retrieved our bags. They led us to their car & we stayed with them.

Cameron kept Scott busy with golfing & other male bonding activities while Cathy & I greeted other classmates at the airport.

Late, Saturday afternoon I stepped out of the guest bathroom in my pink evening gown & my husband come up to me & said, "If I wasn't already married, I'd ask you out right now." Then he stepped back & asked, "What have you & Cathy been up to? Did I forget our anniversary or something?"

I chuckled, "Or something. Trust me, you wouldn't forget our anniversary!"

We met our host's in their Great Room & then they we all climbed into the waiting limo outside.

"Wow Cathy!" Scott exclaimed, "You had us at hello."

We all laughed. Then that led to story after story about the good old days.

Cameron asked, "Why aardvarks for a mascot?"

We all looked at each other & started to laugh again. Cameron was even more baffled & inquired again, "I don't get, what's so funny about aardvark?"

Scott then told him the story behind the story...

"I don't know who came up with an aardvark for a mascot... but Arvie the Aardvark has seen his share of pranks.

Our football team tried to steal the rival team's tiger mascot. Because they all chickened out at the last minute, they decided to paint our school mascot, being an aardvark. Trying make it look like a tiger so that the rival school would get blamed, they painted stripes on it.

The next morning the team arrived to see that probably should have had lights on their project, because it was not orange & white... but rather hot pink & lime green.

Because only one store in the area carried those colors & it belonged to the QB's father, coach knew right away our team were the culprits. We found out later that the QB was color blind!"

When the limo reached it's destination we were all laughing so hard we were crying. Cameron & Scott helped us ladies out.

As we walked toward the ballroom Scott heard some familiar voices & he smacked his head & said "Oh my, how did I forget? Our class reunion!" He turned to me & asked, "Did you know about this?"

"Not until we arrived." I replied. He then gave me a big hug & said "Well, it's been 20 years since we've graduated... You know what that means."

"Yeah, we're getting old!" Cathy interjected. "Come on, they're all waiting for us!"

I was amazed at the transformation of the drab room I sat in just 2 days earlier trying to figure out how we'd cover up some of the stains on the walls & carpet.

We reached our table & saw that the hotel had placed a little notebook & a clicky pen on each plate.

On Cathy's plate was a note: "Since the majority of your guests have traveled a great distance to get here & that you have a small class... we have included these notebooks & pens to allow you to obtain each others contact information.
We hope you'll return for future reunions. Thank you for your business."

After she showed me the note, I giggled, "Why didn't we think of that?"

We spent the rest of the evening catching up with all our friends & telling story after story about the good old days at "Central High".

When the sun was setting, Cathy gathered everyone out by the beach for a class photo.

She was right. It was a kaleidoscope of colors!

Not only did I use a dictionary for this story... but also a Thesaurus... (Had to sneak that last 2 words in there some how! LOL)

United Friends Challenge #17 - Stella the Stiletto

Well, it's been a couple weeks since I wrote for the UFC... & Since this challenge was set by me, I needed to do it.
I knew what the challenge would be... (Write a story in the 1st person as a inanimate object)... but I wasn't sure exactly how I would handle it.

Yesterday while chatting with my dear friend Autumn Sunshine, I asked her to name off an object that I could write about. She suggested a woman's shoe. "Perfect!" I said!

Still not having a story in my mind I laid down last night & before I could go to sleep the name "Stella the Stiletto" popped in my mind.

That's all I needed!

Before you meet Stella, I have some "business" to attend to 1st...

The challenge (again, set by Yours Truly!)...

Write a story (or poem) as if you were an inanimate object (ie: Ball Point Pen) (in the 1st person style)... & write it about what a day in your life is like! From the time you are awaken to the time you go to bed. (& If you're not used often, explain what life is like in "limbo".)
(I sure hope I covered all my own parameters! LOL)

Now, let me introduce you to...

Stella the Stiletto

Hi! My name is Stella & I live in a small dark room with my sister, Shelia, & other family members.

Shelia & I don't go anywhere alone. We are a pair of pink stiletto shoes!

We don't get out of our room that often, but when we do it is a blast. Well most of the time.

The last time we were out Shelia & I knew we were in for a whirlwind of a time! I could tell by the excitement of our owner as she anxiously started throwing some of our family members aside.

Finally when she uncovered us, she hugged us & put us on her feet right away.

Then we went clickity clack down the house steps. Jumped into a car & listened to some bee bopping music. Shelia was just laying there relaxing on her foot & I was being tapped with the beat of the music.

I had not clue what was in store for us.

Reaching our destination, we could hear the thump of music coming from the room we were going into.

"Hey Shelia, you better hang on tight, we're going dancing!" I told my sister.

As we walk into this loud room we kept bumping in to some of our friends. We didn't have time to even say "hi" to them.

Finally we stopped & the weight of our owner was taken off of our backs. I didn't mind it too much. For I know that when she is standing, we are being noticed by all our friends.

Shelia once again was holding on tight. I was swung from one side to the other & started swinging back & forth & tapping to the beat again.

A few minutes later we made it out to the dance floor. It was a slow song to start so we got the opportunity to meet our dates.

Frank & Fred the penny loafers. I should have known by the dull penny in their heads that they were not a couple of nice boys.

Shortly into the first dance Shelia was stepped on by Fred. Then Frank stepped on me. With that I started to squeeze our lady's foot. She stopped & kicked me up & took me off. Then it was Shelia's turn. We here hanging by her fingers for the rest of the dance. I was fine with it, because I was sore already.

We are not meant to be stepped on!! That's OUR job!

Before we were able to tell each other how much we wanted to be back home, another human bumps our lady's hand & I am sent flying.

I landed into a wall & my heal was broken almost all the way off. Before I could scream for Shelia. I could hear a faint "STELLA? STELLA?" in her voice.

All of a sudden I'm swooped up & I sighed thinking I was about to be reunited with my sister. I was wrong. I started being tossed back and forth from hand to hand.

I started to get dizzy & I could barely move. At first Shelia's voice started to get louder. Then, I was tossed back toward the wall & I could hardly hear her.

It seemed like an hour before the music stopped. I'm laying on the floor 1/2 broken & my head spinning, when I hear the click of Shelia coming closer. It just didn't sound right without my echo.

Just as I thought I was going to be left behind the familiar feel of our lady's hand picks me up & whimpers. "Aww, we'll have to fix that." Then she separates my heal from me. I tried to protest, but before I could, I am put back on our lady's foot.

Then Shelia had her heal taken off also & put back on.

We were finally standing next to each other once again & if I had arms I would have reached out & gave her a big hug.

She looked at me & said "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, all accept we've lost our heals. I don't care, though. I'm back with you. Besides we needed to be healed again!"

Before we could say much more we started back to the dance floor again. Fred & Frank were staying far away from us this time.

"Don't worry, we won't get near you. We don't want to end up like you two. We like our heals!"

Then we were placed side by side with Frank & Fred & moved very slow. After a little bit I began to like Frank. He was even funny.

The music stopped again. I thought, we were going to sit down again, but instead Fred & Frank started moving a little faster. Then we started going fast too.

I was out of breath when we finally stopped & sat down. Frank was not far this time. We hung there & was swaying back & forth together.

Shelia & Fred were so far apart I felt bad for her that she didn't get the chance to get to know him better.

Our night of dancing was over & we went click click back to the car. Not having heals really kept us quiet.

We get out & not far behind us is Frank & Fred. Shelia smiled at Fred. I smiled at Frank. Then we each were given our 1st kiss!

Just as we were getting comfy with Frank & Fred, we were walked into our house. Before the door closed we turned & said our good byes to Fred & Frank.

Then our lady took us off & carried us back up to our room. But this time instead of being buried we were put on a shelf next to a pair of cousins.

Since that night we have been healed, but we received a small wider heal. We are a pair of comfy pink shoes. No longer on the floor with other stilettos, we now live on the shelf in the dark room.

Oh, I hear our lady. The light of day has peeked through the room. Today we have been waiting for a long time. It's the day we will have our debut as small dainty shoes.

Later on, the sound of the music makes Shelia start to cry.

Before I could find out why, I saw Frank & Fred coming into view. When we finally reached them & I started to tear up too. I finally knew what was happening.

Frank gave me a nudge, I said, "I'm just like my sister, I always cry at weddings!"
