My hubby found a GREAT deal at our local Best Buy the other day... a mouse for SenCi!
(in case you missed it, that's the nick name for my laptop!)It's a Targus Notebook Wireless Rechargeable Mouse.
Hubby set it up for me last night. I am SO THRILLED it works with SenCi & Win98!

It's comfortable & surprisingly QUIET!!
It's like Targus was thinking of someone like me when they created it. (Someone who is easily irritated with clicks AND tired of having to clean off the track ball.)
Ergonomic is also a key when building new mice & Targus hit it on the nose with this one!
