This hits a nerve because I just recently posted a picture of my true self on here... I had been reluctant about it for that very same reason!
All I ask now is that anyone that reads Kanga's blog & agrees with me... please click on the "Report Abuse" under the "suspect's" name. (NOT KANGA! See her blog for details!!!)
One more thing... this point was brought up by someone who left a message on this suspect's guestbook... If she's not careful, she could be charged with breaking the copyright law!
This is why 9.999999 times out of 10 I'll ask before I use a photo, if it's not specified if protected or not.

Hey all! Many of you know what is going on from reading my 360 blog, but there is a blogger who has taken my baby's picture and posted it on her page. I messaged her asking her politely to remove the picture because I felt weird having my son on her page. I wasn't accusatory, as I understand about Googling pictures or grabbing cute graphics from other sites .... she messaged back a nasty note telling me the baby is hers and I need to get him off my page, etc...
This blogger has stalked many of my 360 friends, saying horrible things and using profanity, etc.
Anyway, many of my friends reported her and as of right now, her page is unaccessible so it appears as though Yahoo deleted her. We shall see.
ANYWAY ....... she also has a Multiply account and not only has she put Roo's picture as her avatar, she also has him in her photo album and has given him a name!!! I, as well as others, have also reported her here. This is her multiply page: http://sheraisanangel2.multiply.com/
I deleted my photos from 360 and am considering deleting all photos here as well. *sigh*
I feel like my baby is a pawn in her games, ya know?
Otherwise, things are going well here and we are enjoying our visit with our friends!

ReplyDeleteI just went to see what you were trying to tell us .... but like the others, I found her page is private. May I ask what happened ... something about using someone else's photographs as ones own???? Just so that we can know what NOT to do if there is something weird going on.

I am curious to see this person in question Multi page but the she would see that i have visited her and will come over to see mine, not sure i want that going by what Kango said. This sounds like a sick and twisted person to say the least, i cant believe what she did !
ReplyDeleteThanks for updating and letting us know the scoop. What a very strange thing for someone to do. I understand her maybe thinking the picture was cute and wanting to use it ... but the polite thing to do is ask permission. But to actually state bolding that the baby is hers!!!!! I can imagine how upset the parents must feel. I hope this gets resolved by Multiply quickly.
