I wonder, why is it that no one has thought of a way to take the snow from the sidewalks, streets, and / or yards & transport it to the drought stricken areas??
I mean, there are transport semi's for everything else... why not snow? Yeah, sure it may melt before it reaches the south (or ???) but it's still water!
And it can easily be put into the lakes that so desperately need it!
Just a thought! :)
That is a great thoght. Send it to Southweat Virginia. We would definitely pu tit to use.
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me. It would take tanker trucks to haul it and who's gonna pay for the transport? It could be done. Maybe the government should foot the bill for the truckers and such.
ReplyDeleteI've wonder that too..like when it floods as well. You'd think there could be some sort of collection/holding area in places that get an abundance of flooding or snow that could then be hauled and distributed other places... great minds. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree. That would solve alot of problems but you know the govt. isn't going to do anythig like that. It would be to easy to get by with.
ReplyDeleteIf only it would just snow where it was needed! Good thought, but I think it just wouldn't be economically feasible. Maybe build a water pipeline...
ReplyDeletehmmm, very interesting but a good idea
ReplyDeleteIf only that were possible. Send the transport trucks up to my house....we've got more than enough to spare!
ReplyDeletewow that is a great idea
ReplyDeleteYou know... this still crosses my mind every so often!! (see the date on this original posting! It's from a year ago!)
