ReplyDeleteBeing a Permanent Resident I'm unable to vote. Wifey advised me to not register for any party when I eventually get to that point after Naturalization, as they'll plague the heck out of me!
ReplyDeleteBack in the UK I was on the left of center, voting Liberal Democrat in elections for our area's MP in Westminster and Plaid Cymru (Welsh Nationalist) in all local elections as they were the parties I most identified with.
Since 9/11, I've become more conservative, though most any political quizzes I take see me come out as Libertarian, which is fine by me.
Wow I really dont go by party I vote for the best person and if I wre to say party it would have to be republican...it is such a fine line and yet so many issues..

ReplyDeleteI'm a registered Democrat. I had to do some research on the presidential election that occurred while I was in high school, and I tended to sway more to that side. Still do! :o)
