Linux - this is a question, not a review

I know, I know this is not a review... but I didn't want to post it into a blog...

Anyway... I'd like to know if anyone in the Multiply community is using Linux & what do you think of it?

Hubby has installed it on the desktop & I am thinking of installing it on the laptop... to hopefully speed it up!

I would like to know the positives AND negatives! To help me decide!

    I used it on HALO and loved it. Carrie swears by it. Talk to her about it.

    Linux is an OS (operating system) like Windows.

    YES IT IS FAR BETTER THAN WINDOWS BUT WHAT ISNT..

    I,m using LINUX AS WE SPEAK - I Also use WINE - Which
    lets me view linux as a windows system but while using linux

    Heard about Linux before but don't know much about it.

    its far more friendly & stable than windows is and FREE
