Adventures in California... Day 1 & 2...

I am having a blast!! It's so gorgeous out here. Yesterday & today it has been 85+ degrees & SUNNY!!! Cool at night, but feels great!! & It's not very humid out... Now I know what they mean by a dry heat! For example, right about now it's 85 with 23% humidity... & usually I'd be sweating up a storm or completely passed out from heat exhaustion... Though I am tired... it's not really from the heat.

Though I have not been out & about today, I'm having fun just being lazy & finally getting the chance to blog! :)

Yesterday we had a blast! Dad & Joyce (my step mom) took me 1st to the big rock... Morro Bay Rock... I took pictures & watched as the waves come crashing ashore. I then saw one of many seagulls just sitting waiting for his picture to be taken.

While I was taking his picture Joyce saw a little squirrel playing in the sand by the rocks. So, the photographer in me made me turn my attention upon him.

Then his little friend came out of hiding... as you can tell by the picture. They were funny to watch. Because every once in a while one of them would roll around in the sand as if a dog rolls around in the grass. Then they would chase each other.

I thought they were chipmunks, but Joyce said they are squirrels... then I saw their tales & yep... that's what they are.

Then we went to Atascadaro, because Dad had a chiropractor appointment. So, Joyce took me to some thrift shops... where I got quite a few bargains!! Joyce actually found a beautiful wall lamp for only $6... & it fits well with the decor in here.

Dad even bought me an outfit... & a few shirts. (It was buy 1 get one 1 free day)... & I made out like a bandit! I now have a couple things to wear at church.

We then headed to Caycous & we sat out on the Pier & listened to the waves. Of course I took more pictures. (I will figure out a way to share them all with you in a little bit... Dad is getting ready to make supper... so I need to get this train to it's destination in a hurry! LOL)

So, we came home & Dad made some delicious BBQ Ribs! :) A neighbor couple was over & joined us & it made for a fun evening.

Then Dad & Joyce went to bed & I was trying to watch the show NUMB3RS... a few minutes later... I was just way too worn out... So, I was asleep by 10:30p ... but being the fact to me it's actually 1:30 a.m... I can understand why I was tired! LOL

Oh, I almost forgot to mention about Charlie! That's their cat! He's so CUTE! & So lovable! Charlie will even play fetch! LOL... he has a toy mouse you will throw & then he brings it back to you to throw again.

Today has been kind of a lazy day for me. I think the jet lag has hit. After breakfast Dad & Joyce went out to get a small ceiling fan & I stayed & took a nap. Now I am watching typing this blog & watch

After supper Dad is going to take me to Montana De Oro to watch the sunset. Which is in less than 1 hour!!!

Well, we've reached our destination. I hope you enjoyed this trip aboard "The Rambling Train".

Have a GREAT night!
(Tomorrow's destination... California sunsets!!)
(Note... I the time this was posted is PDT!!)
