Just a thought

Something my hubby said about a week ago, about the election... that if Obama was elected... & I'm sure you've all heard similar remarks... That he maybe be the Anti-Christ... (I still doubt that.)

Well... I guess that I'm really tired, because now the thought has fleeted... Meaning... I can't remember exactly what he said... I'll back it up later... Maybe MamaDi or Caghs can help me out...

But he said something to the fact that "the young will follow him (him, being the Antichrist) in groves".

Anyway, that thought rang through my mind as I watched all this coverage of the election. The majority of those celebrating were the college age kids.

Just a thought... & by the way... this is only for my contacts!!

  1. Hun.. I encourage you to Read the book of Revelations, then go into Daniel, Issaiah, Jeremiah... and those WORDS will POP out.

  2. Okay, my take on it is this. Obama may well be AC. Sure looks that way. But then, it's been said about a lot of people, including Hitler.

There's signs to look for, the most important being a fatal wound that he recovers from. That, and the blatant proclamation that he is the christ (or something to that effect, it's been a while).

Until one or the other happens, it's hear-say. He's not the first to have this said about him, and (if he's not indeed AC), I doubt he'll be the last.

But yes, I have my reservations.

  3. I guess all sorts of thoughts are going to abound, but to win he had a lot more than just the support of college age kids.

I admire you for being mature enough to congratulate the winner, even though he wasn't your choice.

  4. We certainly have had the earthquakes, famines, wars, and rumours of wars that are outlined.

But they on their own are nothing new either. It's only when it all comes together that we need to worry.

And either way, the important thing is that we're going about the Lord's work no matter whether he's AC or not. THAT is the thing that matters.

  5. How about this Caghs... I brought this up to my sister earlier tonight... Maybe it's Sarah Palin???

& I just read something... & I will have to find it in the Bible to confirm... but I just read that: "The Bible refers to the Antichrist as a "despicable person" who has not yet received a kingship."

And I have to say, in this country... I do believe they would consider the President as a King. You think?

What my hubby said had something to do with the multitude of the young following the Antichrist... if that's the case... then Sarah Palin would fall into that category too.

We all just need to keep on praying!!

  6. Thank you much... I probably would not have been so quick to do so, if McCain hadn't urged us all as Americans to do so in his concession speech.

If he can be gracious about the loss... then who am I not to do the same?

  7. A good friend of mine had this to say:

Obama has already proclaimed that Jesus is his Lord and Saviour. The antichrist (if one will literally exist) will try to proclaim himself the messiah. He cannot be divided against himself and would never call Christ the saviour or messiah.

  8. I John 4:3

3 But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.

  9. ANOTHER THOUGHT...

Didn't Obama make a statement a while back that he is NOT Black? If so, then why are they saying history has been made??

(side note... I have been avoiding my email... I just know that my dad is gloating! ... I can't avoid it anymore... I best go check it!) ;)

  10. No, he made the statement that he was not white. He's of mixed heritage, you see ...

He identifies with his negro heritage, and has turned his back on his white heritage.

  11. And many will come in my Name saying "Lord, Lord", and I will say I never knew them.

Anyone can say they follow Christ. It's their fruit that shows the truth of the statement.

  12. In the end, what it comes down to is be ready. If it's not Obama, it'll be someone else, and how can we stand in His presence and say we only got busy because we thought He was near?

  13. I don't think we are suppose to know "who" the ac is at first (2 Thessalonians 2:3-10).....just like it is not for us to know the exact time Christ is coming back (Matthew 24:36, Mark 13:32).
I know it's scary thinking how Obama is "charismatic" & seems to have people falling over themselves to follow after him! Alot of speculation is that he's indeed the ac. I know I didn't vote for him.
Hmmmmm.....think I'll go blog about this as I seem to be getting into a lenghty
    comment here! LOL Hugs!

  14. I think that everyone is gonna be pleasantly surprised by our New President. I have supported him all along, and I am not a young person. Also, I was not a Democrat.

  15. I voted Obama. I cannot stand much of what has happened to our country and our troops. I want us all to be able to unite. It seems Obama is more likely to bring us all together and not divide than McCain.

As far as AC, I seriously doubt that. really...

    But loves ya anyway!! xoxo
