UFC - #89 - I am just a leaf

The challenge was given by my dear friend Caghs the Cat Lady... & I normally don't do poems... because I'm not that good at it.

However, I'm going to give it a try for her. She needs a "pick me up" & so, I hope giving this a try will help put a smile on her face!!

In case you're new to my blog... UFC is a group called UNTIED FRIENDS CHALLENGE. A group of friends & authors. We challenge each others writing talents. We only have to do challenges that inspire use.

My life is brief.
Spring waters from heaven gives me strength to grow.
The sun warms & gives me the color green.
Through the summer I wave in the breeze.
Fall arrives to chills my veins.
Yellow, red & brown in between.
Time for me to go before I freeze.
For I am just a leaf.
