No, I wasn't sick... just been tired & a little "burned out" you could say. So, I took a break this past week... & I may even take a break this next week too... Seeing how it's going to be OH SO cold!! (But that's not until about Wednesday.)
I did take some pictures (from inside) of the beautiful snow fall. I'll try to get them uploaded in the next couple days.
While under the covers I watched some shows & movies. The other night, Hubby & I watched Mythbusters (gotta love them guys!) & they were busting some conspiracy theories if there was actually a moon landing. It was very interesting to watch how they proved there was a moon landing back in 1969!! Wow... this year I'll be 40 & so will the moon landing!!
Wonder what then President Obama is going to do to celebrate??
Speaking of President ELECT Obama... it's 9 days away from his inauguration....... Just mentioning it. That's all. LOL.
I hear the whistle blowing... must mean we've reached the end of this ride on The Rambling Train.
Stay warm all & Toodles!!
I missed that episode of Mythbusters that would have been neat to see how they proved it... yep 40 is coming up fast..... YIKES!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Weather Channel was telling me that you guys were getting SLAMMED with snow and I don't envy all the shoveling that's in store for you.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK to get burned out once in a while., just take it easy so you don't get sick!
P.S. I find that when marshmallows are put in hot chocolate before consumption, the whole world actually becomes a happies place!
1969 seems like it was yesterday does that mean I got old an some one did not tell me oh well guess it don't matter if you don't care.
ReplyDeleteenjoy your break! To be honest that sounds like fun

ReplyDeleteBack then...We sat in front of the TV and watched the launch and the astronauts as they walked on the moon. It was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI remember that when I was a kid Take some time off--I've needed to do that several times.
ReplyDeleteI like Mythbusters, but I missed that one, I'd have liked to have watched it, my Mum'll be pleased because she keeps telling us off if we say it was faked, apparently, she remembers seeing it on the telly.
ReplyDeleteGood to know you're up from under the blankets now. ;)
(just a note, I didn't watch the moon landing's 'cos I wasn't born 'til 1974, not that I want to make anyone feel old or anything.) ;P
