The one rare time I go out during the day....

  1. The one time... Our next door neighbor's house was broken into!! & We figured it was probably during the time I was gone. & I was only gone for about an hour & a half. IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!!!

So, that now makes it both neighbors on either side of us that has been broken into. The one neighbor has since (theirs was over the summer, at night!) adopted a German Shephard puppy. (Cutest little thing!)

From what I was told, the one from today... computers & tv's were all they could tell was taken.

Usually I'm home... just happened that a friend offered to drive me to Wal-Mart. (Had to exchange something.)... & I had not mentioned it at all on Facebook. (I did hear on the news that some burglars "case" FB for tips when home owners are away.

    That's all for now. :)

P.S. I have come to the conclusion times I'd like to have "record" of stuff I post... I need to post here, instead of Facebook (& just check the box to cross post), because it's easier to look at past postings here, than on FB! So... you might be seeing a bit more from me again! :)

  2. Well, I can see how it would make a person paranoid, but I wonder if your getting a dog wouldn't be a good idea, too.

I wonder if someone could be watching the neighborhood to see when you go out.

  3. @Aunt B... We have 2 dogs... have had them for many years. ... I'm hoping that's why we've not been "hit" yet!

(Check out my photos & you should see my Coleman & Sunny.) ;o)

  4. also... the thing is, I rarely go out... & if someone was watching... either I or any one of the neighbor's would have noticed... we've all been on the look out since the one break in & the varied vandilism that's happened in the past year or so.

And... it's hard to tell when I'm here or not, because my truck is in the garage & my hubby's truck leaves quite early. It was rare that I was gone.
