I know something is amiss, because I'm not even hungry... & Yes Mom, I'll still eat something!! Maybe I'll try the good ol' toasted cheese.
Not sure if it's allergies or if I'm getting a cold. (Or worse yet, pink eye... I HOPE NOT!)
All I know is, my eyes hurt & I have a headache making it hard to concentrate... & don't know what to blog about today.
Though, I do want to talk about Princess Diana, since yesterday would have been her 46th birthday... but I don't think I can do any justice today.
(Did you see the Concert last night? I did & I was quite disappointed. Mainly because NBC only had highlights... & they didn't choose very good ones. Best part of it was the her childhood films at the end. Though it left me wanting to see more. NBC could have done a lot better!!)So... I'll just direct you to this site: Diana: A Celebration ... I had the fortunate opportunity to go see this when it was here in the states (in Cleveland, OH... only 60 miles away!)... on my birthday, in March!
My mom went with me. My grandma sent some money with her & told her to be sure I picked up something about Diana as a birthday gift.
I brought home the best thing to remember the day... a book that showcases the tribute. Now I'll be able to look back & remember how I was able to see all those beautiful dresses (EVEN THE FAMOUS WEDDING DRESS!!) up close. (As close as you can when it's behind glass!)
Thanks again Mom & Grandma! I'll never forget that day!! :)
Now, I think I'll go lay down again.
