The news says there is... at least they are "teasing" it for their news at 5:00p.m.

I tried to find it on their site... but since they haven't aired the story yet... So, stay tuned... I will try to post a link when I find it.

Let's just say this... they said there are more weddings today & lots of people playing the numbers in the lottery. (So, they said in the teaser commercial!)

  1. I just don't get it. I did kinda like the 7-7-07 beings that 7 is a heavenly number. I really didn't get that either though. Oh Well, I am in the dark only about 99% of the time. I wouldn't give it a rating though. Good blog though.

  3. 8 is a magic number in the Asian community. We dealt with many foreign immigrants in California and they loved to have the price of the home end in 8 or their address end in 8 or have their personalized license plate end in 8. It was 8 8 8 ad nauseum. Their were people all over the city halls petitioning to get their numbers changed. 8 means good fortune and wealth. Heaven forbid if your address ended in 4. That means death. It's all about the Feng Shui. We may be a bit jaded but Tom says that Feng Shui is Chinese for weasel clause.

  4. Yeah... Barb is on the right track about 8 being a lucky # per the Asian culture... But there was something else that the teaser said... but of course I missed it!! .... So, I sent a message to the station to see what the story might have also entailed.

I'll keep you updated here! Thanks for staying tuned! :)

  8. The Beijing Olympics started on the 8th of August. Apparently 8 is meant to be a very lucky number, this is due to the fact that if you turn it on its side, it becomes the symbol for infinity.
