Another trip to the vet

This time I went to get the meds for Sunny's rash. I came home & was actually able to give to with Peanut Butter... usually both her & Coleman will end up working it to the front of their mouth & spitting it out. Luckily not this time!

Also, they gave me medicated shampoo & some more of that "rinse". She has to be bathed 2 times a week with the shampoo... I don't know how I'm going to do this... because it's hard on the back!!

Today I put her in the kitchen sink (pictures to be posted later on their site!) & she was SO stiff legged that it was hard to get her underside... where she really needed it the most!

OH... & the directions said to leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes... Now, whoever wrote them directions must not have ever given a dog a bath... Because 9 times out of 10... at some point they will shake 1/2 way through the bath.

HOWEVER... Some how... some way... I kept Sunny from shaking during bath time... Though soon as I got her out & sat with her on the couch to dry her off... she shook & shook... So, I put her on the floor & started drying her & she had the mind to bury her head into the towel... & Then she tried to roll around to get that "clean" smell off... WHILE I WAS STILL TRYING TO DRY HER!!! LOL!! She is SOOOO silly!

Well, that's the ride for today! Have a great day!! :o)

  1. This is one reason we take them to the groomers! But since we don't have the extra money right now... I am stuck doing it! ... It's becoming a bit of a chore!

It's hard to lift her too... I have to make sure she's on the couch 1st!... Next time, I will wait until hubby is home & have him lift her!! It's not good on my back & head!! (He doesn't know this yet! He will soon! LOL!!) :o)

  8. Sure did his name was Ace and I'd run my tub of water to come back and find him playing in it. Even had to take him to the vet for swimmers ear.. the vet couldn't believe it. now bandit only likes water on his terms (of course that always seems to be when I'm brushing my teeth) so for him I just use a wet washcloth, but I taught ace to like the water from the day he was a baby i'd put him in the tub with me but some cats do naturally like it but most don't
