Auctioneer Shane Radcliffe is my favorite one to listen to while watching The Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction on Speed. BJCCA is all we have been watching since Tuesday. (Well, Hubby has been... I started watching it since 2:00p.m. Thursday.)Take a look at the photos on that link... there is a little something different this year. (Dad, you'll like it!!!)
If you're a regular rider on The RT... you might remember from last year that Hubby & I have fun playing the Hagerty Fantasy Bid... while watching the show. This year the site to bid has been the "renovated" to be easier to bid... and to keep track of our own score.
I wasn't going to bother with it this year... but soon as I heard that they are giving away IPod Touch for each "winner" for every car in the game (29 total), I figured I could at least try for that.
What really stinks is earlier today there was one that was $1000 from my guess... but I was over... so, zero points for that one! Oh so close! If I had gotten the right bid... then it would have been down to timing. Well, there is still many more to go.
