Well this week had started out to be a relaxing one up to my 40th birthday... however that has all changed.
We've had 2 deaths in the family & both the funerals are this weekend. One is on my side, sort of, my sister's mother-in-law. The other is my husband's uncle.
1st one has calling hours on Thursday & Friday morning ... Then the next one is Saturday.
Somewhere in the midst of it all we'll be trying to celebrate my birthday. I have a feeling that we won't be going to the movie.
Oh & yeah... I have to write a challenge & a story for UFC.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know what is going on.

ReplyDeleteAt funerals we celebrate sharing the lives of those who God gifted us with. We are sad because those people are no longer with us. They are now in the hands of a loving God. We shall see them again, just not in this life.
ReplyDeleteYour birthday is cause for special celebration because it is a celebration of you and the 40 years God has gifted the world with sharing. Hoping he gives you 60 more years to enjoy and then one more year to repent. :-)

ReplyDeleteMy sister is "cooking up something"... not sure exactly what... It was supposed to be a surprise... but my sister had to tell me, because she thought... that I thought... that they all forgot my b-day & thought I didn't think anything was going to be done.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I know that Passion Wolf is invited... don't know who else... & honestly, I don't want to know until I get there!
I told her it's a good thing I did find out, because if she called me to come down, I may have said, "nah, I'm not in the mood" or something like that. (If she sprung it on me that is.) That's just how my life has been lately!
Anyway... yeah... it's going to be a wonderful birthday... HA... 2 funerals! UGH!!
Reminds me of my Sweet Sixteenth birthday... Hey Passion Wolf... remember that one?? That's when the guy at school committed suicide. He was buried on my birthday.
So, I think after this year... I will only celebrate my "non-big" ones! LOL!!!
