No, I don't use it enough to pay.

If they lower the price I might.

Why should I? I have my photos & etc paid for on another site.

Today in my local headlines (that's a screen shot of the new version of Yahoo Mail... where I see all these interesting news stories!) ... I saw the headline: "Nathan Green is blogging his life his life away... Until Feb." ... Of course something like that interests me... so I clicked on the link to see what it was about... Especially since it's from the Cleveland Plain Dealer... Close to home... HMMM...

I was amazed at what I read... this guy is actually taking on the task of blogging once every 2 hours for 1 year. He even has a web-cam set up. It's interesting in the fact the same thing has crossed my mind... however, I would not have a web-cam or make the "journaling" like that for public eyes... (I am too "paranoid" about things like that... to be that much of an "open book".)

His quote about looking at his "patterns" is mainly what I was thinking of doing it for... 1. because of my memory loss & 2. to see if I can figure out if there is something I can do to alleviate my headaches.

However... I wouldn't do it every 2 hours... that's too much for me to do. If I attempt something like this, I would want to commit to at least twice a day. Though looking back on my blogs from the past year or so... & trying to pay close attention to some of my own patterns (in my mind)... I just don't know if I could commit to something like that.

I am having a hard time keeping the Secret Angels going. (It's been in "hiatus" since after I went to California.)... though my other thought is... maybe this is what I need... something to "commit" to like this.

My question for your is... what do you think? I realize not everyone will want to read my mundane ramblings. (More than they are now.)  ... but do you think this would be good therapy?? (My regular readers will understand what I mean.)

By the way... the poll... I'm just curious!! (I personally will not be upgrading... because I had Flickr paid account long before I even heard of Multiply... & it works terrific for me & my uses!! It was a Christmas gift from my dad last year around October... Yep, dad... you can count on me asking for the same thing again this year!! LOL!)

  2. It sounds like an interesting project. If you were to do your own version to look for patterns, it could be an idea to set up a separate user account, then you can keep all those posts in one place and decide who gets to see what.

  3. Making a commitment to blog twice a day sounds too much like work to me. I am here to have fun and I don't see any point in paying for an upgraded account. I have my pictures on other free sites too. I like to spend time seeing what is going on in other people's lives too. It's a mutual interchange.

  4. Yes, it would be a separate account ... maybe even a whole separate site... Still thinking about it.

For now, I'm going through this guy's past blogs to see if it's worth it or not. So far, I'm liking the idea... but like I said... it would not be at all for the public or even near as much as he's doing... Even though some blogs are just one simple line. :)

  5. I think it's a neat idea. But it would mainly be up to you. Because I think the main thing is for you to see how things progress or what not in your own life. So no matter what any of us say, If you feel the urge to do something like that, then I say go for it. Remember, it's your life, and no one else's. And you know I would love to read any of the blogs you write. And to make a promise as to how many a day or how often would be hard for anyone. So don't worry about making promises. Or you could even just blog, "I don't feel like blogging this time", and something simple. Anyway, the decision is all yours!! :)

  6. I've tried blogging on a daily basis in the past and managed just a few days, so every two hours would likely get two entries and a "To heck with it"!

  7. This has to be your choice if it's something that really has your interest and you think that it would help the only thing I can say is "go for it" do as your heart is leading you to do.
