I'm actually pleased Susan Boyle didn't win, I honestly don't think she's a wonderful singer or anything, there were far better singers than her on it. I'm pleased Diversity won, they seem like lovely kids, they're making a statement with their dancing and it's something new for the Royal Variety Performance, which is what's needed, The Royal Variety Performance has been going for years and needs something definitely different, which is what Diversity is/are.
Susan Boyle was sort of set to win and that put me off a bit. She has a fine voice and her biography is impressive, but would she have been the BEST choice? I'm far from being sure on that one.

ReplyDeleteYes Diversity were good. Susan Boyle was Ok ,but not for the Royal Variety Performance.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Saxaphone player,thought he should have won.
I was rooting for Susan too. Who knows-maybe something will come of it for her? In any case, it's been a wonderful dream come true for her!
