Sadly, the wife passed away. & Her husband is still unconscious... he's breathing on his own, but it's unknown if he will survive.
Here's the obituary... I normally wouldn't share something like this... however it's one of the better written ones that I've seen.
Ellen & her hubby were a couple of great folks & were a delight to see all the time at church.
My prayers go to him & his family! (Please, if you're a praying person, please pray that God's will would be done for Charlie (her husband)... & if he survives that he does not remember the accident!! From my understanding it was awful.
How sad. It will be very tough on your church in the next year.
Lord Jesus, please be with Charlie. We ask that you would heal him, if it is in Your will. Comfort their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as they will be missing their grandmother. Thank You for the life that they lived and the lives that they touched. Please be with their church family and comfort them as they continue their ministry without this dear couple. We ask that You would keep Charlie free from pain and discomfort and we ask, Lord Jesus, that You would shield his mind from this terrible accident. Please be with the doctors and nurses and give them wisdom as they minister to Charlie. In Jesus Name, Amen
