Ok... sorry for my regular readers... you're probably tired about hearing this... but for those who haven't heard yet... I created a group called "The Last Word Game"... & it's a BLAST!!

Object is to have "The Last Word"... To get it you only change one letter on the word before. (There are other rules. See the home page.) Virtual prizes given!! :)

Word Play - Round 4 has started

Round 4 has started ... I have moved the game to a group... 3 main reasons (among others)...

1. So I could post the rules & results in the "notes" section & not clutter up the blog (to start the game)...

2. So my dad & other readers not interested in these games... don't have to shuffle through my blog to get to the stuff they really want to read! :)

& 3. So I can have "co-admins" to help me with the games & etc.

Starting tomorrow...

Remember that guy I talked about the other day... the one that is blogging EVERY 2 hours??? (Yep, that's his logo for the blog photo)... Well there's a few things I have to talk about this...

I've been chatting with Nathan, & he's a really nice guy. I even helped him by setting him up with a site here on Multiply, at his request. I'm also helping him with writing a press release. (Nate, I'm still working on it!!)

I had been thinking of doing something similar (before I knew of his site), but mainly for myself... but you know how it is... "best laid plans"... Anyway, the more & more I've thought about it this week... I am going to do it. HOWEVER, it will NOT be public as this blog is. AND I am not going to be doing it as often is Nate is.

If you haven't checked out his site yet... it's like the logo says... EVERY 2 hours! Seriously! He blogs every 2 hours... even in the night... he sets an alarm so he can wake up long enough to blog. He blogs about his dreams... what he eats... how he's feeling & what he's up to. It is actually interesting. You'll get hooked! Oh & he even has 2 web-cams. He DOES have a "life"... he is co-owner (4th generation) with his dad of an auto parts store... goes to college & has a girlfriend.

Starting tomorrow I am going to start my "project" of daily diary entries... However, I am doing this to help me see if there are any "patterns" to the reasons behind some of my problems. Anyway, I'm telling you all this because I have set this up as a "group" here on Multiply... and I will invite anyone who wants to weigh in on my daily activities... BUT... there will be some strictness to it... Only for the fact... well... our good friend Caghs puts it best... this is a quote from her when I was talking with her about this idea...

"This is a personal growth exercise, in which case you need feedback that will help you grow and move in the direction you want, rather than tear you down."

So... with that said... if you'd like to help me... send me a PM & I will send you more information what I am looking for... & will send you an invite to the group. (It is set up for invitation by me alone!)... I am not expecting anyone to read everyday or even respond to every blog... As mentioned it's to help me... not to "entertain"... well, maybe! LOL

And NO, I am not abandoning "The Rambling Train". On the contrary... I hope it will help me do better with this blog. So, if you want to be a part of this project... please either send me a PM or reply below. (I will then ask you some questions in a PM to see if you will "qualify" for the group... Don't worry... they'll be easy ones! LOL.) & Some of you I may just clarify a few things.

So, what do you think of this project? What do you think of Nate's project? (Oh, yeah... I am NOT going to be setting alarms to wake up every 2 hours to blog... I physically (health) can NOT do that.)

I will be blogging about my dreams, that I remember, as he does his. And I will be talking about what I eat... only for the fact to see if any of it correlates with my headaches & other problems. My blogs maybe every 2 hours... or every 4... Maybe more... maybe less (during awake hours). I'm not committing to an exact amount of time just yet... only that it will be at least 2 to 3 times a day!! And after the "Rambling Express Diaries" (the name of the group... get it?? LOL) gets to rolling... the blogs will hopefully be short & sweet... So I can leave my main ramblings up to this site!! (Make sense?)

Oh... one last thing... Round 3.0 of the Word Play game is STILL OPEN... it hasn't had much response... & besides... I am currently the one with the "last word" ... & I will NOT be the one to end it (if possible)... can't give myself a blue ribbon! LOL! (Speaking of... to the winners of yesterday's rounds... I'm working on personalized ribbons... & I will get them to you sometime tomorrow, if all goes well!) Be sure to check out Tara's game too... link to her game is in the Round 3.0 blog!! :)

 Ahhh... an IDEA just popped into my head... after round 3.0 is complete I am going to start a "group" & going to call it "The Last Word"... it will be a public group & we will move the game to there. Sound good everyone?? (I just hate it when good ideas like this come so late at night!! LOL)

Word Play - Round 3 (& results of Round 2)

Yesterday's game was a success... We had some moments when I couldn't even keep up. Finally though we all got stumped on the word: CLIMB for a little bit... so I started to declare Mama (QW) Di the winner... & since I had already promised her a blue ribbon... & because... some how some way Mama & Katha got started again but it was actually on a word that had been used already... AND they were already on a roll... I said I'd let it go... but said Mama was still getting a ribbon!! (Whew... that's a mouth full!)

After that, we all got stuck on the word SHELF (by Katha)... Then I was closing things up & told Katha & Mama they were both winners & they'd both get blue ribbons! I had left a note saying we'd have a new round today & if anyone knew of a word to continue after SHELF that it can be re-opened & we'd call it round 2.2.

So... in recap... this is what I had declared... Round 2.0 ended with CLIMB... & then said the round was now 2.1... Which it ended with the word of SHELF... After Mama went to bed & Katha & I were both about to leave... Kelly (Aquacatt) came back & was not stumped & changed SHELF to SHEAF... SO, then I declared that, round 2.2... which after we all got stuck on the word TWITS... and some of us just couldn't keep their eyes open (mainly me!) I declared Katha a 2nd time winner...

Round 1.0 winner - Aquacatt (final word: FRUIT)
Round 2.0 winner - Mama Di (final word: CLIMB)
Round 2.1 winner - Katha (final word: SHELF)
Round 2.2 winner - Katha (final word: TWITS)


Ladies, your blue ribbons will be sent to you via a PM!! Feel free to post them in your own blog, if you wish!! & Start your own "collection"!

This blog starts a BRAND NEW ROUND... This will be 3.0 & the rules are the same... with a couple additions... so hopefully things won't get SO confusing...

Suggestion (not a rule)... It may help when you change the word to capitalize the one letter you're changing... to make it easy for us all to see.

I'm putting this here... so my dad won't have to "look around" it. (See, instead of going to the front page he had bookmarked & getting all confused in finding my most recent blog... I helped him bookmark just my blog... So things that are just for fun & probably would not interest him will go in this area from now on!!) :)

ANYWAY... my friend Tara started a Word Play game on her site. I asked if she mind if I started one here too... If you want you can play both... (Click her name for her game... will open in new tab / window.) ...

Here's the rules... I'll start by giving you a one word... the next person is to change that into a new word by changing ONLY ONE letter!... Do NOT add or take away any letters... just change ONE! (ie: crush... brush... brash... etc)

It must be of the English language... can not be a proper name. Keep it clean.
If we get stuck, I'll declare a winner & post a new word.

I'd prefer that you do only one at a time... wait for the another person to change your word before you post again.
