It's Monday already! Good Grief! (9-10-07 entry # 1)

This picture is one of my best friend's little girl... I'll call her Mady... & she is 2.5 years old... as her mommy (CM) puts it! I think she is just absolutely precious in this picture!!

Only one problem is, I've never met Mady... well, not since I've had my memory block. So, I have to see her via pictures! However, I'm sure one of these days I'll get over to CM's house to see her!

STOP THE PRESSES!!! As I was typing this... I just remembered something... from what would have been over 2 years ago... I think I visited Mommy & baby in the hospital when Mady was born!! (Nope, CM didn't tell me this... I am going to have to verify it with her!) COOL!! Another memory flash! I hope it's right!

As for football... it's been a pretty good weekend in my house!

Both the Buckeyes AND Steelers won!!

However, the BEST news was that another unranked team (Oregon) handed Michigan Wolverines their worst loss, since the loss against Ohio State in 1968 (50-14)!!

Michigan's star players from last year opted out of the NFL draft this year so they could be the top dog of the Big 10! They were supposed to be undefeated, Big 10 Champs & National Champs... So much for best laid plans!

Oh, yeah! I about lost it when I heard one the meteorologists on "The Weather Channel" making a joke about Michigan's humiliation last week, against a 1 AA team, Appalachian State! (..."I heard Ohio State fans can't find enough Appalachian State shirts!" (or something to that effect!!))

**That's me... ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING MY TUSH OFF!!**

As for FFL... I am on 2 different leagues... one of them I created (as mentioned in a prior blog) & my very 1st match up was against my hubby...

Since I didn't have anyone playing from Thursday's game, he had 21 points on me! From just ONE player, (Reggie Wayne from the Colts.)

So, after the 1:00p.m. games I was excited when I was ahead of him! HOWEVER, he ended up beating me! (91 to 74) (Neither of us anyone playing in Monday Night's game.)

The other league I am in, is a very difficult one! They have 20 teams & some difficult scoring & etc. However, I managed to pull off a win over the team called Minnesota Kamikazes. (88.12 to 42.76) He had 4 players that did NOT score at all! (Both of us are done for this week, too!)

Well, it's getting late & it's been a VERY long day for me! Tomorrow I'll have access to the desktop again, so, I may not have such a long blog. But we'll see... I really like this idea of drafting in Notepad... because it helps me keep from being distracted & from creating a blog of just rambling!!
