So, I guess this blog is going to be making up for lost time! :)
I can't complain too much... because now we have wireless internet!! So, guess what I now have?? What have I be clamoring for months now... A LAPTOP!!! (See picture above!)
Before you get TOO excited for me... It's an OLD (almost 10 years old, with Windows 98!) & slow one!!
Can't complain too much, because it was free! Hubby's brother gave it to us.
I'll get to use it when hubby is home in the evenings & after he returns from Russia. (Which now is pushed back to at earliest Wednesday 9-12-07!! While he's in Russia, this have to be at his work so they have a laptop to use, because he has to take the shop's laptop with him. Which is not a problem, because I'll be able to use the desktop without be interrupted... obviously!)
Hey, don't get me wrong... I'm content for now... because hubby is using the desktop right now & I am still able to blog!! Lucky YOU!!
Another draw back is there is NO battery... So, I have to be near an outlet. Which means for now, I can not take it to a cafe, unless they will let me plug in. Well, I don't care because I don't have money right now to sit in a cafe & surf!! (Meaning I'd want to drink coffee or a frappuccino while there!) But... it's nice to know that I will have the ability if needed! :)

Now this is hard!! Why only 1?? I have so many I'd want to visit... so it's not fair to only pick one... Well, since Maegan was my very 1st friend here on 360 that I've really been talking with, I would want to go see her... & because of where she lives! And I can't forget to mention Sunshine303... she & I have become really close, but I found her on Yahoo Answers... but I got her involved in 360 :)
HOWEVER, if you talk about location, my 1st choice would be Emma Monkey, because she's from Ireland!!... I really want to go to Ireland!!
I stand corrected, Emma Monkey is NOT from Ireland... one of my 360 friend's is... So, I'll change my answer... how about 1 visit to FOUR friends?? Meet them all in 1 place... who would that be? Maegan, Sunshie303 (aka Sunshine TC in Yahoo Answers), Caghs the Cat Lady, Mama Di (Quiet Warrior) AND Emma Monkey!! Aww... never mind... I keep thinking of more friends I want to have... sto tell you what... I'LL JUST HAVE A PARTY with ALL my 360 friends!!!

I'm in the GREAT State of Ohio... which I really adore! ... because we experience ALL 4 seasons!!
However, we live in the "city" & I truly detest it!! I grew up on a farm & I always thought I'd want to be in the city when I "grew up"... but now I have been in the city since I was 18 & I am ready to get back into the country... but NOT too Far out!! I want to be able to have high speed internet AND cell phone coverage!! (See where my "priorities" are?? LOL)
4) What so intrigues you about Princess Diana?
Furthermore she had that "fairy tale" wedding that almost any girl wants!! It also maybe because I always thought she was a "commoner" like me! It wasn't until when my mom & I went to the Diana: A Celebration exhibit (in Cleveland, OH... on my birthday) that I learned she was actually born into royalty... And even lived NEXT door to the Royal family!!
I am not sure what it is about crowns, tiaras & the Royal Family that has me so captivated. I always have been intrigued by all the pomp & circumstance that surrounds them.
Kate Middleton, I know, is a commoner & I think she could be the next "Diana"... Meaning I think she will be sought after like Diana was. She is a beautiful girl & I think she & Prince William would make beautiful babies!
HOWEVER, I hope that Prince William will marry for love!! If he truly loves Kate I would be one of the 1st ones to cheer them on their way to the altar. (Only if I could!!!)

(DISCLAIMER: The following is strictly my opinion! I do not "condem" and / or look down on anyone who had / have an abortion!)
Since I am "Pro-Life"... this is an easy question, for me!!
The fact is, I do not think there should be abortion... PERIOD!! Because I feel it's MURDER... & to use it as a form of birth control is just down right unacceptable!!! Not to mention DANGEROUS!!!
Let me give you an example... Too many ladies are out having "promiscuous" relations just because they think they can have a simple procedure to get rid one of the "consequences". That simple procedure is not that simple, for 1. 2. Think of all the STD you could get!
Adoption is an alternative that would be great for MANY!! The child... and the couple wanting a family!
Now, hold on! Before you start firing all the "what if's" at me... I do feel there maybe 1 or 2 instances that abortion would be acceptable.
1st one would be is if it was beyond a shadow of a doubt... & I mean 100% positive that the mother's life would end if she were to carry the baby!!
2nd one would be... (this I am not that I would support it all the time)... that if a woman were to have been raped & it resulted in a pregnancy. In this case, I would support the "morning after" pill... HOWEVER, I do NOT support it to go on the market as a form of birth control. But wait, that's a different subject & I really don't want to go down that road!!
I do not hide the fact I am a Christian. However, I usually do not quote scripture or try to "over load" my blogs with my religious views & opinions... (I'll leave that to someone like my sister OR Mama Di, who know I look up to & trust their knowledge & calling!)
There are just those times I just feel I can't get away with NOT quoting the Bible... & this just happens to be one of them. And because Mama Di asked the question I feel like "showing off" a little bit! LOL!!
One of my favorite scriptures about abortion is Jeremiah 1:5a "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you!!... " (The "Bible Gateway" is a great source to look up Bible verses.)
Also, I will back this up with a little bit of fact... It is known that a heartbeat is detected within 21 to 25 DAYS of conception!! So, why is it they call it a "fetus" ... why not call it what it is... A BABY!! A HUMAN!!
This is why I feel it should be REQUIRED a woman should be shown an ultrasound view AND hear the heartbeat of the baby BEFORE they have an abortion... I truly think that there would be a whole LOT less abortions if they could hear the heart beat!! Now they have a 4D image that can SHOW you the heart beating! (I would post a link... however they are pretty graphic images. You can use your favorite search engine & enter 4D Ultrasound if you wish to see this new & amazing technology!!)
If you saw that, would you have the heart to be able to stop that heart????

Since I now have to use this laptop while hubby is home... & that the internet connection is SO slow (I've also found that it gets EXTREMELY hot in no time at all! This is NOT going to last... I just know it!!)... I am using "Notepad" to draft my blog... So, when I have several topics I wish to discuss... I will not be putting them in separate entries like I usually do...
This leads me to a poll...
By the way, sometimes I do multiple blogs when I find afterwards something I really want to share!!
