UFC - #99 ~ Memories for a Lifetime

This probably will be my last post of 2008... & I'm going to try to fit in a last creation for you. This is one I missed a little bit ago & really wanted to do... However, we have been granted a "make up challenge", if you will... & So, I choose the following... #99...

Jillermar's Challenge
While searching through an old trunk, you come across various items.
What particular treasure is of value to you?
Write about it.

~ Memories for a Lifetime ~
(Copyright - ⓒ A Fiction Narrative, by Lady Harley ⓒ)
I lifted myself up into the attic in search for the copy of my family tree that I had completed for a school project some 20 years ago.

Sticking my head through the square hole in the ceiling, I hollered down, "Mom, which trunk was that in?"

"It's in YOUR trunk! You know, the pink one!"

Though I was prepared, with my gloves & scarf, I was thanking my lucky stars that it was early enough in the winter that it was not too frigid yet.

Carefully I walked across the planks of the attic floor keeping my eyes open for any hint of my favorite color. Finally to my right there were the three trunks in a row. The one at the end by the window had a blanket over it, yet I could still see the light crimson colored box.

Tossing the blanket from the container over onto my sister's one next to it, I slowly opened it as if I half expected something to jump out of it. Exposing the contents was like opening a valued treasure chest. To me it was a treasure of memories.

Abounding with numerous photos & mementos from my childhood, I decided to sift through it right then & there. The cold did not seem to bother me as soon as I picked up the first piece of paper.

There were scratchings of what only a mother would think of as a budding artist. I could tell it was of my creation just by the numerous variations of the color pink. I laugh at the thought of the day I went to school in an all pink outfit from the pink ribbons in my pony tails down to the little pink flowered shoes.

Next was a photo of me next to a life size doll... my twin. Smiles abound as I remembered proudly standing at the local fair with a blue ribbon for the best dressed best friends. Thinking as an adult, I wonder if the coordinators of that fair ever thought a little girl would show up with a life size imitation of herself.

Digging a little farther I pulled out a scrap of material. This triggered the memory of the first time I sat in front of a sewing machine in Home Economics class. I listened intently as the teacher instructed us how to thread the bobbin and machine. Nervously my foot fell upon the speed control & my bobbin flew off bonking my friend sitting beside me. She picked it up & tossed it back to me and said, "I thought we were sewing, not playing catch." Laughing at the thought of how she always found a way to put a clever spin on something.

Moving aside some more photos I found a few dried flowers clumped together with a faded note: "To the girl of my dreams. May tonight be the start of a lifetime of memories together." My eyes sparkled as I remembered how that first evening with my now husband turned ugly from the start.

I was all dolled up in a satin pink gown for our senior prom. Looking forward to the night since the end of the previous school year, I made sure I was ready and waiting as my date pulled into the drive. Anxiously I ran down the steps to greet him before my pop could grill him with the usual father type questions. However, my shoes had a different idea. Needless to say, instead of dancing in his arms, I spent the night in an emergency room waiting room waiting for a cast.

Then something blue caught my eye. "Hmmm, that's in the wrong box." Though soon as I uncovered it, I realized it was indeed mine. It was the garter from my wedding just a few years prior. Tears began to roll down my cheek as I recalled how proud I was to walk down that aisle to the man who had seen the best and worse of me, yet still wanted to share the rest of his life with.

Putting each item back in the trunk I realized I had not found the artifact in which I had set out to retrieve. I turned back to call down to my mom to see if it could be somewhere else when I was startled to see her face poking through the attic opening.

She was smiling from ear to ear as she held up the piece of paper that I recognized to be the family tree we worked on many years ago. "Come on down, I have something to show you."

Delicately walking back across the wooden boards & descending down the ladder, I turned to my mom and asked, "Did you just send me on a wild goose chase?"

"Nope just a family tradition."

In her hands she held a green box similar to the 3 up in the attic Opening it she places the family tree in it & said, "This is for your attic."

Last of Glitter Graphics for 2008...

Nope, guess that was not my last post... & neither is this one... I'm working on something special... but ran across a few pretty & cute graphics I wish to share... (From my favorite site: Glitter-Graphics.com) ... If I were a guest book poster as I used to... these are ones I would post... Since I too busy with other things... You'll get them all here!

So, without further adieu...

And of course... a little PINK to round out the year!!

Vantage Point (PG-13)

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Action & Adventure
To do a film from just one perspective is challenging enough... To pull off about 7 different "Vantage Point"(s) makes for a top notch film!

This is another one of them where the Special Features on the DVD is just as intriguing.

The all star cast is given a challenge to tell a story in more than one view. They not only pulled it off, but they did it with great finesse!

Without giving any of the surprises, I do say things are not as always what they seem... & that's what makes this an intense, dynamic, thrilling movie!!

I had been wanting to see this since I saw the 1st review. Being this is the last night of the year, I feel we saved the best for the last in 2008!!

If you have not seen it yet... I think you get the idea... Let me just say FIVE stars is not enough for this flick!!

This may be my last post...

For 2008... (Ha! Got ya, didn't I?) Anyway... my dear friend Amy sent this to me in an email & I just had to share it with the lot of ya... (I'd link her page for you... but it's private.)

After serious & cautious consideration.....your contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2009!

It was a very hard decision to make. So try not to screw it up!!!

My Wish for You in 2009...

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts.

May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of  $100 bills.

May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!

May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy.

May the problems you had forget your home address!

May 2009 be the best year of your life!

Snagging this from my friend Vinny & Flask's blog. I agree, 5 stars!

A hat to ring in the New Year

Rating:★★★★★
Category:Other
Here's a fun thing for the New Year's. Maybe even a great craft for the kiddies.

This is a link to the article that talks about the Julian calendar & has the instructions I have pasted below.

Looks easy... & fun... if I was going somewhere for New Years... I might have to make me one. But since I doubt it... I hope you'll share photos if you make. Enjoy! :)

***********************************

Supplies you will need:

• 9-inch plate.

• 101/2-inch paper plate.

• Ruler.

• Pencil.

• Scissors.

• Hole punch.

• Yellow and blue acrylic paint and brushes.

• Narrow ribbons.

• Glue.

• Cotton balls.

• Old newspaper.

Place the smaller plate in the center of the larger paper plate. Trace around the smaller one to make a circle.

Divide the circle into eight equal sections using a ruler and a pencil. Working from the center to the outer edges, cut the lines, but do not cut the outer edge. Leave at least 2 to 3 inches intact.

At the outside edge of the plate, punch eight holes around the plate just opposite the lines.

Put the plate right-side-up on top of the newspaper and paint the center sections yellow.

When dry, paint the outside edge of the paper plate blue.

When dry, fold the ribbons in half, slip the loop through the hole and draw the ribbon ends through the loop and let hang.

Push the center yellow triangles up from the bottom to look like the sun's rays.

For clouds, glue cotton balls around the rim.

You can finish the hat by decorating it with glitter.

Dear Santa...

The 103rd United Friends Challenge (UFC) is mine this time....
For more letters to Santa... CLICK HERE.

It's almost that time... Have you written YOUR letter to Santa yet? The challenge is to write a letter to a Santa (or Father Christmas or whomever your childhood "Santa persona" was)... & write it in a child's point of view.... HOWEVER... for the gifts YOU would like THIS Christmas. Make it fun. Feel free to include pictures.

Dear Santa,
How are you? How is Mrs. Claus, all your reindeer & elves?

I have been good girl this year.
I take care of my dogs.
I even call my Dad every week to check on him.

I don't want much this year... the biggest thing is I would like a white Christmas this year. Lots of sparkly snow.

Another thing I'd like is a digital candy thermometer (photo included) so I can make fudge like Alton Brown on the Food Network.

Please also bring my doggies, Coleman & Sunny some Nylabones. They just love them & I love them.

My hubby needs a few new pair of jeans, so that I don't have to do laundry all the time.

Oh & one more thing, I would like a gift card to Target so I can buy a bunch of Tim Tams. Enough to share with all my friends & family.

Please be safe & stay warm as you travel delivering all them gifts for all the boys & girls around the world.

Sincerely,
Lady Harley (one of your biggest fans.)

P.S. I hope I'm feeling up to making you some chocolate chip cookies. If I don't get them made, feel free to raid my TimTams... once you've had them you'll be spoiled.

Milk will be in the fridge so it won't addicted. Your glass will be on the top shelf.
Many Christmas Hugs for you & the Mrs.

Just for my dad... (& anyone else interested in)...

The Bermuda Triangle. When is the last time you heard anything about something going missing in the Triangle?

Well, a plane is still being searched for. Of course the media has to point out that the pilot only had a student pilot license.

If I was a family member of one of the missing, I sure wouldn't want to know that piece of information while the search continues!

Ok, let's hear it... what's your best theory on The Bermuda Triangle. .... Hmmmm... I feel a story brewing! I could really run with this! Alas, it's after 1 a.m... So, it will have to wait for a later date.

Toodles!

Comedy at it's best

I've been a Bill Engvall fan for a very long time. Then I heard the bit about him flying with the Air Force Thunderbirds.... SO COOL!! (Fan of them too!)

Anyway, today I was looking at another video on YouTube & saw one about that bit... I click on it & it's is not just the story about that... but it's mixed with actual footage from that day!

WAY COOL!!!

Except for the "credit" that keeps popping up it's a great piece of work!

Enjoy!!

Toodles!

**update** I did finally get to sleep after 9:30 p.m... but woke up around 5 a.m. with one of my headaches. Unfortunately today... I have to just grin & bear it... at least until about noon! Another one of them hectic mornings for me.

Had you seen this yet?

An Iraq journalist throws his shoes at OUR President!

I applaud President Bush (YES, he's STILL our PRESIDENT!), for his comments at the end. That is how a President SHOULD REACT!!

One problem though... does this mean that all reporters will now have to remove their shoes before going into a news conference? Hmmmm...

Busy busy...

Tonight is the 9th Annual Christmas Euchre Party. It's something that my hubby & I look forward to every year.

We need to take a snack, & of course as every year, I am making chocolate chip cookies. How can I not... everyone loves them.

I am not sure if I've shared before... but a friend even says they're better than his mom's! That I take to the bank, because I've had his mom's before... & I think they're wonderful! :o)

Hubby tries to say it's because of my Kitchen Aid mixer... I say nope... it's because I use REAL vanilla... not the imitation stuff! & What I use is "double strength"!!! So, it gives out a great flavor.

Plus I use Nestle Toll House chocolate chips & that recipe. (Adjusting tiny tads here & there.)

I swear though... I've never made a batch the same way twice! LOL.

Anyway I'll try to get some pictures and maybe even a video.

Toodles... lots to do yet! :)

quick message... (contacts ONLY!!)

Hey all... if you're reading this after reading my apology blog... then just know, it has nothing to do with any of you.

It's something I said to someone in private. & Just know, I said nothing mean, vindictive, or anything else like that... It's just I said something & it was taken the wrong way. After a very kind discussion... I now know, I should have handled it completely different. Hence the title "Tough Lesson Learned".

I decided to make the apology public to show my sincerity and my caring for their well being. Again, if you're questioning this... just know it does not effect ANY of you!!

I've made this a "contacts only" blog. It is NOT to be shared with anyone, nor does this need to be discussed at all! So, I will be making it no replies also. I do not wish to stir up anything that is not needed.

Again, it does not effect any of you!! (You never know, it may be about someone not even here on Multiply. It may even be just a family member of mine... ok, it's not a family member. BUT THAT'S ALL I'm saying about it!)

While I have your ear... please know... I think we're all wise enough to know what is confidential. However, in light of past few months, which I'll not get into... Please use discretion when talking amongst the "circle of friends" I have here. If I had shared something with you in a PM... or in a message with just a few friends... please do not go beyond that.

I do not want any confrontation nor do I want to have to drop any of you. I feel you're all my friends & I truly hope it will remain that way. (Even my new "passengers".)

Okie dokie. That should do it for this... Take care all & TOODLES! :o)

Tough lesson learned... (public apology)

It has come to my attention that I've hurt someone with something I said (in private). In hindsight I should have handled it totally different. However, as we all know hindsight is 20/20.

I am taking the time to say...

"I do deeply apologize for the turmoil & strife I have caused.... I pray for each of you as your loved ones recover and as you deal with the rest of what life has dealt you. I also pray for a speedy recovery for all who are in need."

I can't get into details about what prompted this. Nor am I going to leave this open for comments, for I don't want any replies in questioning this. Just know that the person who needs to see this, will completely understand.

Please do not ask me anything about this. If you question it, then know it is not intended to you.

Sorry for the interruption of your ride here on The Rambling Train. Regular scheduled expeditions will resume shortly.

All my peace, love, hugs & happiness to all.
Sincerely, Lady Harley!

Hey Caghs, may I borrow your soapbox?

Caghs, If I remember correctly... you were given a few of them when your last one broke... right?

*sneaks into the storage shed & picks up a soapbox & climbs aboard*

Hello? Anyone out there?
Yeah, I'm here!! See, we are back in business again! If you're like me, you really enjoy Multiply when it's working smoothly... & are frustrated when you get error messages when you go to post something. Like this past weekend.

Fear not all, contrary to some beliefs, this is NOT Y!360!! Multiply is a healthy community. Also, it is not a BETA site... meaning they're not just going to abandon it when they're board with it.

So, I am just up here asking all to have a little patience when their servers go down. (Or whatever happened.) Yeah, I know, I know, it seems that this weekend it lasted a bit longer than usual. I'm frustrated too... but I still have faith that Multiply (as a company) will have us running smoothly again.

Furthermore, I'd like to remind you all to report your problems to customer service... for if we do not tell them... They may never know there is a problem. Keep in mind though, it did happen on the weekend. & I have a feeling that when it all went down again just a bit ago, that someone hit the restart button!

Yeah, I know... If this weekend's down time was due to updates... wish they would have posted something on the Staff blog to let us know they're maybe some slight delays or problems.

One thing about this weekend though... I tried to submit message to CS & wouldn't you know... I don't think it went through... if it did, they got it about 5 times. LOL. Well, at least maybe that'll get their attention.

Ok, moving on... You all (my regular riders) know that I LOVE WINTER!! Well, as I type this, I remembered... there is one thing I do hate about winter... & that's DRY SKIN!!

I know what I'm asking for Christmas this year... a BACK SCRATCHER!! Never fails, soon as I get comfy on the couch & start to work here on $hiba, my back starts to itch something fierce. To help, I keep handy a pair of scissors... or something to reach those out of reach spots.

Nah, don't worry, I keep them sharp things closed. I use the side of them. And if I'm standing... don't stand in the door way, because I'll be there rubbing my back to relieve the itch.

What's funny is I'll get an itch while I'm out shopping & I will stop at one of them "end caps" or whatever & try to get a little relief. Not all the time... & not in a crowd.

I'm sure some of you'll say, "drink more water" or do this or do that. Well, I appreciate the suggestions... but honestly, 1. I do not like water... though I do keep plenty of liquid (being milk or hot tea or root beer) in me. & 2... if it requires any amount of effort... Then more than likely, I won't try it.

However, I did just get some new bath soap... haven't tried it yet... maybe it will help. It's supposed to be "ultra moisture". Bought at hubby's request.

While on the subject of irritations... Raise your hand, if you're like me... & you have to cut the tag out of new shirts, before you'll wear it? Yep... I've done that for years. So, I love my Hanes undershirts that are TAGLESS!! Just curious if any one else is like that. ;o)

Ok, one more gripe... & I hope this won't offend anyone... but hey, this is my blog!! :o)

This final gripe is something that's been bothering me a few days... I've heard several people, in person & here on Multiply that they don't see spending a little extra money for the holiday or family vacation... or whatever, because the economy is in a bad way.

Well, that's what is so uh... frustrating to me... If you have the ability to spend the money THEN DO IT!! Don't take the attitude that "With the economy so bad, I just can't justify paying for this... or that."

HUH? If you are saying you "can't justify it"... does that mean you could buy or do whatever... but you're choosing not to?? Again I say, HUH???

It just doesn't make sense... because... if the people who DO have the means don't spend & splurge... then the economy will stay in the toilet! Think about it...

I don't remember who said it... but I heard at the Craft Party that someone said they're family is not going to go to their usual place for Christmas this year. Because "they can't justify it." Then I read someone's blog saying pretty close to the same thing.

So, I got to thinking... if you have the way & the means... THEN DO IT!! You'll actually end up helping the economy!!!

Let me give you another example... My sister went all out for Grammy's 90th birthday party... Granted, it was not a big to do by some people imaginations... but I know that she spent a bit of money on it all.

It was worth it... because Grammy will only be 90 once! With her health issues... it's great to celebrate milestones such as that.

Now, if she took the attitude as mentioned above... she could have just had a little cake & ice cream at the farm & invited a few friends & family... but then what good does that do?

Since we're down to just his income... Hubby & I are in the same boat as a lot of folks...  we do a bit of scrimping when we can.

However, there are times when the good Lord will bless us with a little more. We save what we can, when we can... but if we WANT to do something... & we have the money to do it... We'll do it... we won't let the state of the economy stand in our way!

Yeah, it makes us think twice about certain purchases... but all in all, if we can justify it... then yeah... we'll do it! We'll only let our own bills stand in our way.

Alright... I'll stop... I just keep harping on that... I could say a lot more... but I think you all get my point.

That's my ranting for the day.

*steps down off the borrowed soapbox & returns it upon where she found it.* Thank you, Caghs, for lending me your Soapbox. :o)

Before I go, though... let me end this on a happy note... It's sunny out today... & how do I know this... because, I'M AWAKE!! I'm not sleeping!! I've been up since 4:30a.m.... & I had 8 hours of sleep. But doesn't feel like I did, because the past few nights haven't been as restful. (Let's just hope I can stay awake all day... I have stuff to do, so, I hope I will!) I'm awake now... that's what counts, right???

Also, my back is not as bad as I feared it would be today... So, my little slip up the steps must not have been too bad!

That does it for this trip.

Toodles!

Sunday, December 7, 2008

I did it again!

I swear, stairs and me just don't get along anymore.

Earlier today I was going UP the steps to get ready for Grammy's party when I slipped... Twisted my back. Oh no... OH YES!!! At least I didn't LAND on it! So, I called Mike & my sister... & made arrangements for her to get him. I didn't think I was going to make it.

Well, after talking to my mom, who basically said I needed to at least make an appearance. Even if I didn't stay long. Well, that was about 1:00p.m. ... & the party was over at 3... well... I made it by 2:50p!! (People were still there... & Grammy was too.)

I gave her, her gift from Dave & I... a pair of Christmas slippers. (they're cute!)

There were a TON of Red Roses in vases & they were giving them away. My mom made sure I took a few... I was only going to take one, but she hands me 4!

Oh... & sorry, no pictures... My battery died on my phone. I forgot all about it 'til I went to leave & then I saw it had died. Don't worry though... I'll try to get some outdoor shots of the place later... seeing how it's down the road from the farm & all.

Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that, if you don't see me around tomorrow... I may just be sleeping & trying to ward off the back pain. (At least I'm sitting up right now! But not to last much longer.) Going to check my messages & I'm going back to a fetal position... well, ok, just laying down! LOL! :)

Toodles all!

90 years young... NEED EVERYONE'S HELP, please...

Well, tomorrow (Sunday) we will be celebrating Grammy (as I will now refer to her from now on... My sister Gina has started that... & I rather like it!) 90th birthday. (Her official one is a few days away.)

I wasn't looking forward to going... with all the people & all... but now that it's snowed quite a bit today (couple inches) it's looking very Christmasy out there... & the place the party is going to be at is up in the "woods" sort of.

All I know is that it's going to be a beautiful site.

One draw back. Got to pick up Mike on my way. UGH! He's been a bit of a pistol lately. I mean non stop... & I don't mean interesting chatter either. (GEESH Dad... I was NOT that bad when I was growing up... & I know I was NOT that bad when I was 19!!!!)

So, anyway... this is my official request for birthday greetings for my Grammy (on the far left in above photo, btw)... HOWEVER... please... no graphics, for I am going to have to read them to her. She will not be able to see the screen that well.

Also, would you please put what state (or country) you're from. She will get a kick out of it all... that she's getting greetings from all around the world.

You do NOT have to give an exact location. Just an approximate area. :o)

Thanks a bunch... & I hope you all are able to see this & comment without any problems. I know Multiply has been having a little problem the past 24 hours... I hope that someone has finally kicked that server.

Toodles & HUGS!!

Just a thought...

Why is the 1st day of winter so late in December??

I truly think that someone really needs to re-think that! & It's SO close to Christmas!! I really think it needs to be about now. December 1st... how about that? Can we call it officially winter now? No... oh well. I guess it's not THAT cold then! LOL.

The question always asked of me when I said I'm cold is... "What are you going to do when winter gets here! & I just love to come back with (before official date) "FREEZE" (after) "IT IS WINTER!!"

Global warming.... MY FOOT!!! Sorry... It's been SO cold, here, the past couple weeks & it's only the beginning! Don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining.... NOT YET!!

Just as long as it is THIS cold, there better be snow on the ground!! & WOO HOO!! We got a couple inches today!!

The other night it slightly snowed after a day of rain. The blanket of white was SO sparkly that had it not been so bitter out, I probably would have had tears in my eyes!! LOL

See, this was actually my way of getting to post a blog about the lovely snow. Come March 20th (my birthday & the 1st day of Spring) there not better be a flake around!! (It's a toss up here in Ohio... but still, I can always hope!!)

Well, I'm heading to bed... got to try to get some sleep before the party (see blog about Grammy!)... So, I'm going to go warm up a little milk & grab my TimTams & do some TimTam Slams before I go to sleep!!

Don't worry... it won't keep me up! I'm way to tired... but since my mind won't stop spinning, I'll take an Ambien CR & I'll be sacked out in no time... with or without chocolate!!! :o)

Toodles everyone!! :o)

Did someone kick the server??

The thing is... I DO OFTEN change into pj's when I get home... Especially since that it's sweats & a night shirt!! :o)

You Are Flannel Pajamas

You seek comfort above everything else. You rather feel good than look good.

You are a very relaxed person, especially when you're surrounded by your favorite things and people.

You are a homebody. Home is the place where you can truly be yourself.

You are likely to wear pajamas a lot. In fact, you often change into your pj's the minute you get home!

Sleepless in Ohio

Yep! Once again this will be a contacts only entry!

& Yep, once again I did not get any sleep last night!! YES, I took my Ambien CR... around 11:00p.m.... before hubby even went to bed. But no sleep for me!!

I even laid down... completely... but I just could not fall asleep. Unlike the night before... where I was trying to type message on here after taking my Ambien... & I came back in the morning... & whoops! some spelling & grammar mistakes! I know that I fell right asleep after I closed up $hiba. ... but I was back up at 6:30a.m. yesterday.

I did sleep a little yesterday afternoon... but that was because of my head hurting still. (probably from not enough sleep night before)... But then I was up at about 7:30p.m. or so... & Have not been back to sleep since!

So... I will be trying to go back to sleep now... because I really think I will go to that Craft Party!! (I mean... so many of you are urging me to go!!)

Besides, I'd really miss out on the scrumptious dessert if I didn't go!!

Preview... Oreo cookie crumb crust. Mint Ice Cream. chocolate fudge in between & more cookie crust on top... & broken pieces of CANDY CANES on top!!! ... Making my mouth water just thinking of it!!

IF I do go... I'll see if I can get a photo & a recipe!! Because it's not just delicious... but it's also a beautiful presentation!!

Ok, this train just got derailed... (that tired!)

Toodles & HUGS!! :)

I was shocked to get this number... & I didn't have to go back & change any answers! LOL!!! The result is from my 1st thoughts!!

Have fun with it! :)

Your Spiritual Number is Two

You bring kindness and harmony into other people's lives.

Whenever a situation or idea seems extreme, you try to lend some balance.

Right now, your life is about benefiting from choices you've made in your past.

You have done your best to be a good person, and it is starting to pay off.

You are an idealist with interesting ideas. You can't help but see all of the beauty in the world.

But you are also aware of the world and its limitations. You have realistic expectations.

Tough time deciding (contacts only!) **UPDATED**

Contacts only again... I just don't want my dad to see this & worry about me.

NOR do I want any of you to worry!!

Here's the decision... & you all have plenty of time to talk me into it!! (Yeah, into it... not out of it!!)

See, tomorrow night is the Ladies Christmas Craft Party... where about a couple dozen ladies from church gather to do a Christmas craft project. I just called the hostess & found out it's going to be a putting ribbons on a wreath.

I was not looking forward to going for some reason this year... but this craft really sounds simple & fun. Besides, if I do NOT go... I'd miss out on the Minty Chocolate dessert she makes us every year.

I know I have fun every year I do it. I just don't know with the way I've been feeling lately... if I should even go... It's at night... so, that's not a problem. I am more up to things at night than the day.

I just don't know. HELP!!!

Keep in mind loud crowd noises lately have been rough on me... and being in crowds (even if it's family!) has been rough. I don't get why, because I used to love to be a part of everything... now it's like I don't want to be a part of anything!

I have a feeling that I will regret not going... & I'm not sure if that's a good feeling or not.

Also, keep in mind... a week from Saturday is our church's "Annual Adults Night Out... EUCHRE PARTY!" (happens to be hosted by the same person as the Craft Night.) That I told the hostess that I would NOT MISS! I have no idea why... because there will be more than double the people there... But I'm really looking forward to that!!! Maybe it's the competitive spirit in me!!

Anyway sorry about the "I this & I that"... but it's just one of them blogs!... You know what I mean?

**UPDATE**
I got a little bit of sleep... not much... I still have a little bit of a headache... but I'm sure once I eat & get moving that will dissipate.

I'm planing on going to the Craft Party. & Depending if I have to go take Mike to the grocery store or not, I may go early... so, I can get started. Also, so that I can get used to the noise slowly at a time.

Talk to you all later! :)

DON'T WORRY... It's just for today! I'm going to lay down for a bit.

I think I didn't get good enough sleep last night.

Just thought I'd give you a heads up in case you wonder why I disappeared all of a sudden. :)

**HUGS** to you all! :)

attn friends (contacts only!)

It has come to my attention that "others have problems" too... Well, you know what... I KNEW THAT! I have problems too!!

So, I am sorry if I offended anyone else with requesting that we love upon a dear friend of mine. ... If you don't like it... I am sorry... because when one of my friends needs lifted up.. I am going to request help.

Sorry... I had a former contact (it was a newer one... that I guess didn't know me) give me grief... I just had to let you all know that this former contact is not well either. I would ask you go love upon her as well... however... I am not sure how she will take it... So, I'm not going to mention a name... AND PLEASE DO NOT mention this name out loud, if you know who I am speaking of. AND PLEASE DO NOT take it to her!! Just leave it alone, please.

Thank you. & sorry for the rant.

**HUGS** to you all!!

Friend needs help (contacts only!)

I know that a lot... if not all my contacts know of Caghs... Please go to her guest book & just "love upon her"!!

She is need of many hugs & prayers right now!!

Please do not ask me what is going on... for I am not at liberty to say! Just know that she needs our love, support & most of all our PRAYERS!!

Again, this is for CONTACTS ONLY... until she authorizes me to open it to public, please don't say anything on her site... just go lift her up... PLEASE!!! Thank you! :)

P.S. I've not made it to lay down yet... I've been dealing with some things here on the computer... but I will be laying down shortly. For the few that have my number... feel free to text me. I will answer when I can.

Hey all... I still have this nagging headache... it's not as bad as yesterday... but...

Well, it's enough that I'm just checking messages... then I think I'll lay down again... May not sleep... may just lay there & watch tv.

I think it's just my CM flaring up... or my neck is out of place... because that's where I'm feeling it the most right now.

Anyway, I'll leave this one open for comments... but not because I'm looking for any sympathy. I don't know... just feel like leaving it open. LOL... (Ok, I'm not laughing out loud... but I am laughing inside my head.)

I'm also screaming inside my head... WHY WON'T THIS HEADACHE JUST GO AWAY?? I'M SICK & TIRED OF THEM!!!! ... BAD TIMING!!! (Ok, stops the screaming... hurts too much!) ;o) It's just this all has really bad timing because I was just starting to get back on track... NEVER FAILS...

Shhhhhhh! No screaming anymore!! (Even in my mind!!)

Ok... talk to you all later! **HUGS**
(Again, this is for contacts only!) Thanks! :)

just for your information (contacts only!!!)

Hey all... This is so I can say this once. ... I'm going to be laying down for the rest of the night... I have an extreme headache...

You know how they explain migraines? Well, that's what this feels like! Sounds; bright lights & smells are making it worse.

Even the sound of my own typing is bugging me right now.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this because I know there are few of you may wonder where I disappeared to this afternoon & evening.

I am not going to open this for comments only because this is not a post to get sympathy or anything like that. Mainly just a .... crud... I've lost my word!!

But I think you know what I mean. Sorry all. I was doing so well earlier... I even got up at 8:30a.m!!! That has now bit the dust!!

Well, that's it... got to go! **HUGS** to all! See ya tomorrow... at least to update you!!

Secret Angels are needed...

(Dad, you can ignore this one.) At this moment... I know of at least 4 or 5 different friends going through different things... all are heavy issues in their own right.

I just wanted you all to know my heart breaks for all... I know that each situation is rough... & a few are intertwined... And I know it feels like you just want to give up on friendships all together. But please do not do that! We need you just as much as you need us!!

I pray & hope that no matter if you're one of these friends of mine... or if you an acquaintance of mine or just someone happen past my blog... Please know that you have friends here! Some may be really close & other may just be a part of your distant network. ... But that doesn't mean we don't care...

I have found that Multiply is a great community of friends... and when one of us is down or is not feeling well, the rest of us are there to help pull you up!

Just wanted to let some of my friends know that I may not know exactly what's going on... but I care for you all! & For those who are just glancing through this & have their own troubles... I too care for you & pray for you!

So... with ALL that said... I'm going to go open the Secret Angels group now... It's way past time for this!!... & please click that link to join... I will try to send out invites to those who were contacts on the other site.

I guess that's my queue then to stop this blog & get started on the group! ALL ARE WELCOME... (It's set at the moment for "approval verification"... don't worry, that won't take long!!) :o)

Again... HUGS!!!
