  2. *opens wide*

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I don't think the honey toofypaste will work... I do believe I swallowed a little bit of it earlier today. EEKS! Besides, I think it was partially broken before... what I'm feeling now, I think is more of it gone. UGH!!!

Need to find a sympathetic dentist... one who will take payments of like $5 / week or something! With Hubby & I both out of work... & NO insurance of any kind... makes it awful hard to keep from being sick or having teeth problems.

I hate to say it, but I think when we finally get dental insurance again, I think I'll be getting false teeth. My teeth are that bad now. & I'm only 40!! (Well, my dad has had his since he was 19... so, I guess it's hereditary!!) *sighs*

  3. My dentist will let me make payments if I want to. The payment amount is up to me. They'll just add a very small finance charge to the remaining amount and send me another bill the next month. (We don't have dental insurance either, but I normally will budget out money for my cleanings every 6 months.)

That's too bad that you'll be getting false teeth. I'm hoping that I'll always have my teeth. My mom and dad still have theirs, but I know a lot of my aunts and uncles (and my grandma) have false ones.

  4. It may not be a matter of choice... might be a necessity... but again, I haven't talked to a dentist yet, so I don't know. We'll see. I just don't know what to do for the current problem.

  5. My sister had to get false teeth a few years ago... most of it is hereditary... but thankfully I take after my dad's side of the family he'll be 80 this year and has all his teeth except for a partial bridge. but try to get it taken care of you don't want it to get infected and cause more problems.

  6. My sympathy is with you with your tooth problems. I have just come out of the same situation, which I blogged about. It took eight months to get my tooth removed. I rang up crying saying I need my tooth out yesterday. They just kept saying, we need the payment on the day. I wish you lived in Australia, the government helps over here. I wish I had help months ago. Could have stopped a few tears if I knew about the governments dental health plan then. Anyway mine is done, I really hope yours is done soon. Hugs.
Kittychile gave me some mouthwash to use, I don't know if you can get it there or not. It is called CEPACAINE. It anaesthetises your mouth and has a antibaterial agent in it. It works, my mouth was killing me when the anaesthetic wore off but this stuff took the pain away. You just gargle and spit out. I got some on my tongue, and it numbed that too. LOL

  7. Thankfully I haven't had that much pain yet. Just a tiny throb here & there... I think my headache is what's detracting from it. & No, it's not a headache from the tooth... it's one of my CM headaches. (For those who don't know that's Chiari Malformation.)

Thanks Dezi... I'll look into that mouth wash... or see if we have something similar to it. :)

    *HUGS* to all! :)
