If you haven't heard, Multiply will be doing some changes here really soon... Maybe even today!!

So, my advice is, be sure you back up your in progress work! (If it's a blog or something similar... best thing to do is copy & paste it in a word document & save!!)

Ship is sinking

I am still getting messages that I have been sent messages from Y!360, but I still get an error when it tries to go to that page. (& Yes, I've deleted all messages in my in box... on Y360!! Still no messages!!)

My comments don't work either! THEY'RE STUCK!!

So, the ship is sinking... & more people are bailing... I mean jumping ship! If it keeps up, I may be one of them!!! I'm already on the edge!!

5 random Answers... 12-2-07

1st let me say, I am still around... I just don't blog much here anymore. I see though, maybe I should be copying my blogs from Multiply, because I am still getting a lot of views to my page. I wonder how accurate it is though?

2nd, these questions were given to me by CuriousAndSmiley a LONG time ago... I apologize for not answering these sooner... I apologize to all for neglecting you... but don't feel bad, because I've only kept up with a few friends on Multiply.

Speaking of, have you checked out Multiply yet? If not, I highly recommend it... until I see what Yahoo has to offer in place of our beloved 360.

Now to the wonderful questions... This was part (& can still be) of a "tag", sort of... To participate, in your comment, please, let me know you would like me to come up with 5 question for you! 1. If you could have your own business... would you and what would it be?

Funny you should ask, since I have been out of work due to my memory loss... I have been trying to find a way to work from home. I have thought of many different things I could do. To start, I am looking for a way to get paid for blogging. However, I am not having any luck finding anyone that has like my writings enough to "hire" me. I am still trying.

My ideal is to write a book / novel! I love to write! I've started many... but when I get stuck, I end up setting it aside & then when I have the creative bug hit me again... I usually am starting something totally different! One of these days you might see me in print (physically)... or maybe should I just do my book online? Like some of my friends are... Only reason I haven't yet... is because I'm trying to avoid having to have to count on pay per click ads to get paid... I would rather have my work pay for itself!
(Ok, not all my answers will be this indepth!)

2. Do you feel that independent political parties get the short end of the stick when it comes to the media and on the ballots?

Yes... however, I think if an Independent had the money, they would make sure to "stand out"... but that's the problem with polotics. (That's all I am going to say on that subject! LOL)

3. Do you also have family members that hold grudges for long periods of time and either don't talk for several years or spend years fighting like the hatfields and mccoys?

I don't think I've heard of anything like that in my family... however, I'm not really in the loop of everything!

4. Is there anyone who is not running for president that you believe should?

Yes, but I just went blank as to who. If I think of it, I'll add a comment.

5. Have you figured out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

Oh, my... taxing my memory... I haven't had one of them since I was a kid!! However, I'll have to defer to the wise ol' owl in the commercial & say.... 3!

Where's my egg???... (11-11-07)

I have pretty much ... for the most part... have decided to migrate to Multiply. Including posting my egg choices there!



It's so much fun & easier than here! & Free of any major bugs!

They also have an auto fresh feature making it nice for those blog parties we all love! (If yo've not ever had the pleasure of participating in a blog party... let me know, so I can be sure to send you an invite to my next one!)

So, if you're sticking it out here... I recommend you at least give Multiply a try & use it as a back up.

I will keep checking back here to see if there are any updates to how they're going to offer in replacement to 360.

In the meantime, if you decide to give Multiply a try & want to connect with me there, please be sure to let me know you're from 360 so I am know! :)

For now, I have my site titled as "The Avant-Garde"... however, I may change the name... & use that title for my WordPress site. (I am using for articles for applying for pro blogging jobs. Which I still have to find any!)

If you do try out Multiply, you'll find it's VERY similar to here... but better! By the way, Caghs is giving classes to help us learn things to make our experince even more fun! (Teaching us things like how to make our comments scroll. THAT'S SO COOL!!)

Hubby's bike & Update... 11-3-07...

The above ^ is Hubby's bike. I don't remember ever posting a picture of it here. He was out for the last "official" ride of the season...

So, I thought I'd get a quick picture & write a blog... and an article for "The Avant-Garde" I'll have it link shortly... When I do, I'll take away this note. (In case you've not read my prior posts about "The Avant-Garde"... I have created a new blog at Multiply as a back up to my 360 blogs. I've named it "The Avant-Garde" because of the newspaper feel I've given it. Also, because the word avant-garde is a synonym for creative!!)

As for the update...
I am still sick... I went to the dr. yesterday... I thought it was strep throat, since I hadn't been coughing since Monday...

Good thing I'm not the doctor! Because it is bronchitis! And it's the "bacterial" type... meaning I'm contagious! Well, I guess that's actually better than what I had last year, because this kind you can treat with antibiotics.

Thankfully, I do not have a fever anymore... but what little engery I did have, has been practically depleted.

That's why I didn't post anything yesterday. And probably while I'll be a little sporatic in posting this next week.

STOP THE PRESSES!!! (10-26-07)

For those looking for an EASY way to back up their 360 blogs WITHOUT the hassle of copy & pasting... here is an import tool I stumbled across on MULTIPLY!!!

(http://YOURSITENAME.multiply.com/journal/import/yahoo360) <-- This is NOT a link... because, you need to CHANGE it to take out "YOURSITENAME" & replace it with... (the obvious) your name of your site address at Multiply.

You can find that in the address bar, when you click on "my site" when you're looking at anything to do with Multiply (as long as your signed up AND signed in.) (Tip, it has an icon of a house.)

For example: My site is ladyharley.multiply.com ... ladyharley is the name I chose for the site address... HOWEVER, I have named my site....

"The Avant-Garde"... I chose this, because 1 - I looked up the word "creatitive" in a thesarus & "avant-garde" was one of the synomons... & 2 - It fit with the "newspaper" theme I chose.

SO, with this said! I will NOT be changing the theme like I do here. I may "tweak" it a little... but I LOVE it the way it is now!

As for 360... I AM NOT LEAVING... technically... I think I'll be doing my blogs at Multiply, because I seem to keep loosing blogs here.

I'll keep the fun stuff here... & things I know won't matter if lost.

Once the transistion is complete, I'll make the final decision of where I will stay. (I have a feeling I may migrate to Mulitply... because it has the same feel & ease of use as 360 does!)

What does this mean for you, my regular reader... well, just means you should bookmark my Mulitply site... & consider setting up one for yourself, IF, you want to comment on my blogs or leave me a guest book message. (It's more like MySpace & Mash comments. Meaning you can use html in the message to post graphics.)

Instead of posting pictures in a photostream like I have on my top page here... I'll have a link to my flickr site where I've just upgraded to a PAID Pro account... which gives me an UNLIMITED storage of pictures!! (THANK YOU DAD for the EARLY Christmas gift!!)

As I get acclimated with Multiply, I am thinking of doing a "plus & minus" blog about it...

I'll give you a sneak preview... the smileys have something left to be desired. Not near as many or cute as here!! HOWEVER, if you're clever enough you could possibly use some from 360, but copy & pasting the html code... MAYBE... I have yet to try this!! Though it seems more trouble than it's worth. We'll see!

Ok, I'm done for now... I am extremely tired. And I have a lot to do before hubby gets home from work! Not sure if I'll get anything accomplished... because of my shear exhaustion state.

Oh, more more thing...

My thyroid is down to a NORMAL level!!! So, now I am thinking my exhaustion & other problems are mainly from my ACM.
Looking at the symptoms... It just makes sense... Now if I can only get it through hubby & other's head!!!
