The rest of it seems to work much like the Chocolate... except the better way to text!!!
I just thought of another thing I wanted to check on that phone... if it has sometime of "locking" to keep the outside keys from being pushed unexpectedly (when put in a pocket or something)... I'll check on that later... BEFORE I call & get it exchanged!! :)

If you have a Yahoo Answers account... will you please go check out this question & let me know your opinion... I could really use all the advice. Thanks! :)
I have an LG envy as well.. the keyboard is great for txting
ReplyDeleteOH GOOD GRIEF!!! It looks as if I were to go with the Env ... we'd have to change our plan from America's Choice to the Nationwide plan... where the difference is, instead of taking away from our minutes when using Get It Now... it would charge us for per megabyte use!! THAT'S NOT RIGHT!!!
ReplyDeleteIn about a year, I bet any phones they offer will no longer allow the America's Choice plan... THAT'S JUST NOT RIGHT!!!!! ugh!!!!!!!!
ARRRGGGHHHHH This lady just does not get it!!!
ReplyDeleteNow she's saying I can get the Env2... they'd just have to put us on the Nationwide for a short time & send in an internal request to change us back to the America's Choice..
ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!
We had to switch over to the Nationwide plan from America's Choice when my hubby got his LG Voyager. He has the VCAST package for his phone, so he doesn't get charged for any megabyte use, but that in itself costs $15/month. If I use any Get It Now features on my phone, we're charged for megabyte usage. When I got my replacement phone last month, I had (well wanted) to download all of my ringtones again. But because I don't have the data plan on my phone, it ended up costing close to $18 for 4 ringtones. ($9.99 for the ringtones plus about $8 for the megabytes I used.) Kind of a ripoff, but I think when I get my next phone (late next year), I'll ask hubby if I can sign up for the VCAST package so that we don't have to pay extra if I do use those features (and I do like to use them sometimes). Anyways, the Nationwide plan in itself costs us the same each month as our old America's Choice plan did. The only thing is our bill is actually more because of the VCAST package (and the insurance we purchased for hubby's phone).
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I would be very very very very wary of any "internal requests" to change you back to America's Choice. I'm thinking Verizon is likely phasing out that plan and you wouldn't be able to switch back. If it's OK with your hubby, though, and you use the Get It Now features as much as I think you do, it would probably be a good idea to just go with the Nationwide plan and get the VCAST package. (It is that extra $15 per month, but just think of how much it would cost per megabyte.)
it sounds like this girl Rhonda is going to do it all for me... (Except the Free Overnight... bummer... have to wait 7 to 10 business days... again!) I just can't wait to see what are bill will be like next month!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI now have a headache!! UGH!!!
She must not be a "multitasker"... because she's doing things & not talking! LOL... I hate silence on the phone!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's a bummer about the shipping. I wouldn't be able to wait 7-10 days for a new phone if it were me. Of course, (as you know) my cell is my only phone. We don't have a land line.
ReplyDelete*lol* about the silence on the phone. I don't actually mind silence on the phone as long as I can hear SOMETHING. I don't like total silence as I'm afraid I've been disconnected or something.
Did you have to switch plans and sign up for the VCAST so that you'll have a data plan?
I'll still have the ability to use the Chocolate until the Env2 (in Maroon!!!) arrives! Then I'll just activate it & send the Chocolate back.
ReplyDelete3 cheers for Rhonda after all!! She was able to order the Env2 withOUT changing plans!! WHEW!! She said doing it over the phone was the only way they could have done that!! double WHEW!!!
That's good that you'll have a phone to use in the interim. And definitely a standing ovation for Rhonda! I didn't think they'd do that for you. Congrats on your new phone! :o)
ReplyDelete1 hour 13 minutes & 36 seconds later.... I have my new phone ordered (& it's on it's way) & I can finally get back into MyPhotoAlbums (on the Vz site!) ... I am going to transfer all them pics out of there so I don't ever have to worry about that again!!! UGH!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nightmare this was!! I knew I should have just gotten the Env2 from the start!!!! UGH!!!
(The problems I've been having with the Chocolate will be duley noted in a review and I will be posting my opinion on Cnet.com!!!)
(Ok, miss Maegan... you are good with spelling & all... I can't seem to find the correct spelling for DULEE / DULEY ??? or is that not the right word??)
(The correct spelling is "duly".) Yay for your new phone in transit! :o)
ReplyDeletethank you Maegan! :)
